Am I Going BANANAS?! LOL - Trying to Sway BLUE

Hi - Just a random question... Lately Ive been running into a lot of people who have more than 2 or 3 boys and each of them have told me they ate a lot of bananas. Is this true? Is there anyone here who regularly eats bananas on a daily basis and still had a DD? Should I start going bananas with the bananas if I want a boy lol

I ate a lot of bananas and got two boys and one girl. So I don't think it's the be all and end all, but I know when I was swaying for a girl this time I avoided them.

Atomic always says there's no magic food. I actually don't really even like bananas unless it's dipped in chocolate. lol I really didn't eat bananas very often at all with my boys. It's definitely not my favorite fruit. lol

I agree. I have two boys and eat a banana most days but my sister also has one almost every day and she has two girls. If you like them include them but don't go ape over bananas. (Sorry, can't resist a pun. )

I got two boys eating them daily, and my third boy (failed girl sway) avoiding bananas and all other boy friendly foods.

Not a magic bullet. I think what works to get a boy is snacking. Bananas make a great snack food to eat on the go. I think snacking regularly and keeping meals smaller (to accommodate all the snacking) is what gets boys. It appears it may be a particular food, like bananas, but if you were to look at their overall lifestyle you would see it really is the snacking that is helping to get boys. And regular BDing in the fertile window.

Even exercise isn't a make or break for a boy sway. I got one boy doing moderate exercise, one boy as a couch potato, and one boy doing cardio only. Snacking is the golden ticket here. Everything else is just window dressing, IMO.

I don't really like them and never really ate them too awfully much when I got any of my 4 boys (I only like them during this 3 second period where they're still really green but are edible and I can hardly ever find them at that point) If anything I ate them more often with my DD becuase I needed to get enough potassium when I was on LE Diet and I was traveling around a lot and they are portable.

There are no magic foods for conceiving a certain gender.

I see a lot of people try to up banana intake for a boy and I believe it is a BIG mistake. The only reason they were ever supposed to sway blue is because they have potassium, but the fact is that they are not very nutrient dense otherwise, are high in calories, and really dont' even have that much potassium compared to lots of other fruit and veg. Plus, you can't eat just pure carbs for a boy, you need protein + carbs at every meal and snack and since bananas have a high GI if you eat a banana alone for a snack between meals, your blood sugar will shoot up and then plummet which could undermine an otherwise good blue sway!!
