Hello ladies! So it's been a LOOONG time since I've been on here - we were planning to start TTC this past fall and I had some issues getting regulated again after stopping bfing my youngest (almost 2). All testing was normal and went on BC again for a couple of months to get regulated much to my dismay. Stopped that in December 2015 but then didn't have AF for a couple months. Did provera but no O. So now starting clomid 50 mg and ttc this month! I have 3 months supply for now and then need to follow up with doc. Doc told me CD 3-7 for the clomid. I have been doing fiber with meals, no breakfast and overall not very much read meat (mostly chicken), limiting dairy and trying to loosely follow the LE diet. I will start the clomid on Sunday.
What are the best tips as far as sway factors that I should add or drop?
What counts as positive OPK if I am using the advanced test (w/ the blinking vs. solid smiley)?
How often to BD and/or have DH release?
I put TTC on hold for a while and in the meantime, forgot about my membership/plan that have since lapsedso I can't remember the details of the plan that I purchased.
ANY feedback would be invaluable!!

Hi again Kell.
I'm so sorry for all the ups and downs, this is why I HATE it when docs insist on trying BCP "to regulate" because 8 out of 10 times this is exactly what happens, you piss away 2 months on BCP and then nothing happens for another 2 months and then you get the Clomid in the end anyway but it's 6 months later. Grr. (soapbox put away now)
I would have you drop all the sway tactics that do not seem to be heavy hitters for us (timing, jelly, frequency of release, and the nonsense things like hot baths and shallow release) and stick to diet, exercise if you can, and one attempt at positive. I'd have hubby start releasing on his own, or with you, with a condom, every 2-4 days, so he has enough swimmers built up to get you preggo with that one attempt.
After this for a couple months, you'd go to every 4 days, then every 4 days plus one more attempt at positive (or E3D if you prefer) This is at your discretion if you're in a big hurry to get pregnant, you may even want to speed up this timeline to up odds of conception sooner, or extend it a bit so you give it longer with just one attempt. Totally up to you, but I do urge that you at least try relatively hard to get pregnant while on the Clomid (instead of swaying too hard for too long and then run thru the 6 months on Clomid and have not conceived yet.)!!! Fiber is fine to continue on Clomid with the exception of people who are skeletally thin and/or not eating fat. (I want everyone to eat AT MINIMUM 30 g fat and you have up to 60 g and still in LE Diet limits, but some people do not listen to me!!)

I don't think I am skeletally thin but I am definitely at my pre-baby weight! I took the 1st dose of clomid tonight! I know I am still making the fat requirement....I have way too much of a sweet tooth not to!!
