HELP!

Just started this journey on TTC a girl. I chatted my cycle for a couple of months to try and determine ovulation. I'm not super regular, but my app has finally taken into consideration my past months chatting and predicted when I started my period and when I stopped. It has my fertile window from this coming Tuesday-Monday with "highest chance" (ovulation) Saturday. I have questions because I feel like I've been doing it all wrong.

1) Do we abstain from sex from now until I get a positive OPK? Or FR with condom? I have read both, so I'm confused.
2) Do I jump and dump? Or no?
3) Should my husband who I think has high testosterone take Licorice Root? If so, how in advance? I'd have to order via Amazon prime today and it wouldn't get here until Tuesday. Would it even be worth it?

Abstain vs. FR (or one of the other methods instead) depends on your hubby's age and if he CAN do FR. Any guy over 35 should not be doing abstain as it may not be safe, but many other guys can't do FR, so let me know if you want the other options to go over too. None of the frequency stuff has worked anyway.

2)I'd start off doing J and D either immediately or after 5 minutes. It did seem to add a little in our success rates but does really cut odds of conception by a lot.

3)LR has gotten disappointing results of late. I'd not bother paying extra for shipping and it would probably not start really working with that short a time anyway.
