Hi wonderful ladies,
We are going to start trying from this cycle. AF has arrived today. Can you please give me some tips on things that will help the sway starting now apart from the folic acid, multivitamins, fish oil, coconut water, green tea, lemon water.
I have got the grapefruit juice too.
The most important things to do from AF.
Is Guaifenesin one of them? I have the 600mg ,12 hour one which is an Expectorant. Is it the correct one? How should this be taken?
Another question is about the Clearblue pink opk and the Clearblue Advanced opk purple one. Do they both show the solid smiley at the same time? I mean if anyone used them together. I know every body is different so you can get flashing smiley for a lot of days. Just curious. Just to know that the solid smiley occurs at the same time on both or on different days.
Thankyou for always being so helpful and I would appreciate any tips that you may have for us. Wish me luck.

Regular unprotected sex every 2-4 days may help. Many don't want to do that because they think it will sway pink. Up to you - most all of us with lots of boys BD in exactly that pattern when we were TTC and got our little guys that way.
You want the one that is just guanefesin, start 5 days before O and go thru O day. Some go 3 days past O. Totally up to you.
Some people will use different OPK at the same time and we get results all over the map. Some at the same time, some at different times. Just be sure you start the 3-5 attempts with the earliest positive (unless you're really sold on Shettles) because waiting around for both to agree can leave you with only one attempt in fertile window.!!! I agree with Atomic! We have two boys and a girl and will be swaying for another boy and girl in the future. Without even knowing, the suggestions made above are ironically how we conceived our two little boys. I swore up and down they'd both be girls too since we didn't do anything that had to do with Shettles timing...BUT they were definitely boys! We just wanted to get pregnant so we had intercourse about every 2 days or so once AF stopped and then BD atleast 3 times once we got a positive OPK (solid smiley). We always started BD around the time I started seeing EWCM too. Good luck! We are actually going to try swaying next year for another boy, so I'm glad you asked this question! Good info on here! Atomic...is this the best suggested boy method?? And do you recommend waiting a certain amount of time after one stops breastfeeding before trying to sway?

Thankyou Atomic. I am scared to do unprotected sex after AF for it may sway pink however planning to do atleast three attempts after the first solid smiley. The night of positive smiley, next morning and the same night. Do you think that will be good?
I just want to ask if you have any pointers about my cycle.
In Jan AF came in 31 days and solid smiley on day 15 early morning
In feb, AF came in 28 days and solid smiley on day 16 afternoon
This month,AF came in 27 days.
Sorry to ask so many questions again. I normally get AF in 28 days.

Thankyou For your inputs. Appreciate all the help. Did you BD without any protection after AF until positive opk? We are thinking of getting atleast 3 attempts after positive opk and other suggestions got from Atomic and others here.
All the best for your future sway.

Yes! We have always BD unprotected through ovulation. We did about the same with DD, but with her I lost a TON of weight when conceiving her and had just stopped breastfeeding which is what I believe may have swayed us our pink bundle unknowingly
With the boys I was just healthier in terms of weight and had a good 4 months of no breastfeeding before conceiving DS2. Good luck with your blue sway!! Lots of blue dust your way!

This is what me and my husband did too. We always do BD unprotected in the early days of the cycle and then use pullout around O to prevent pregnancy, and so in the months we were TTC we just didn't do the pullout part! got 3 of our 4 boys that way! (our first boy was when we were young and super human but we still had 2 attempts, not one!)
With our girl, I was on LE Diet, had lost tons of weight, was breastfeeding 2 kids (tandem nursing) and also we had a horrible month that month with one of our sons in the hospital. So we didn't have sex but just a couple times that month (that is very, very rare for us) and then ended up with one attempt in fertile window, 5 days later than our previous BD.!!!
