Hi all!
After been reading this site for over a year now I just started the LE for 5 daysWe have two lovely boys and probably (not completely decided yet) would ttc for a third child. We'd love to have a girl added to our family! In short, I am an older mother (37+), I have a busy job and already have quite some exercise by biking, but never an hour at one time. I'm now skipping breakfast with cereals with yoghurt, having more Coffee (without milk), watch proteïnes and fat and eat two times a day. No more tea. I do still eat some chicken and fish (twice a week I think). I do no more snacking (did that a lot) and watching sugar too. With starting the diet my BMI was low, 18,6. And I lost 1 kg in 5 days. I take folium and will buy peppermint tea. I drink wine every night.
I feel a bit dizzy in between meals and a weird 'dead' tinteling feeling in left hand.
Just would like to ask what you are thinking: should I add exercise? Other supplements?
Many thanks!

Don't do LE Diet for now. If you haven't even decided if you will TTC yet you have no reason to be on it. Just go vegetarian for now.
You don't need to only have 2 meals a day. Both 2 and 3 are fine, do whichever works better for you. And eat your first meal sooner than 1.
I don't recommend peppermint tea for moms over 35 any more. It hasn't worked well for swaying and really seems to cut odds of conception for women over 35.
Just continue your regular amount of exercise. no more than that. I don't want you to lose any more weight. Just hold steady where you are at.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Dear Atomic, thanks so much for your kind reply! I will continue the vegetarian style and add an extra meal in the late morning, with whole grains bread. Some extra fiber would be ok I guess. Thanks for confirming my thoughts on the exercise (it is 30 min bike in the morning and 30 min in late afternoon), I will not do more. We do want both a third child but have our doubts on how extra busy our lives will be. On the other hand, I do 'see' a missing child at our table. Would like to ttc in November eventually if we would go for it. Will turn 38 soon. Health tests showed that my biological age is now actually 30
Again really appreciate your time Atomic!

Just know that it is still very possible to get pregnant 37 and up!! Everyone worries that they will have trouble conceiving but most of us had no more trouble at 37 than 27.

Sorry to hijack this thread but can i ask what herbal teas you would recommend for older mums swaying pink? I love peppermint tea and drink a lot of that plus liquorice and peppermint, but wonder if i should be swapping it for an alternative.

Peppermint tea no more than 3x a week.
Licorice I don't recommend when TTC or pregnant at all (it is in some blends, use them sparingly) as licorice has been shown to contribute to developmental delays when used during pregnancy and may make even a normal baby's IQ lower. Since we don't know how much it takes and how long it lasts, I prefer everyone to skip licorice except in minor incidental use (like occasionally in a tea blend)!!!
