I went to L&D for light spotting and now this??

This past Saturday, I went into L&D for some light spotting, and was told everything is fine my cervix was just irritated.

I got to talking with the L&D nurse, I showed her the elective ultrasound I got at 14 weeks and they told me boy..... She told me, not to buy blue because it looks like there is three lines.

I am 20 weeks, my anatomy scan was rescheduled because baby was in a ball.

I will include the ultrasound pictures in question.

what do you think, boy or girl?

Baby measured 14 weeks 1 day at this ultrasound.

I'm going to say boy just because those lines appear to be sticking out from between the legs. Boys can also have three lines at certain angles. My DS2 had 3 lines at 16 weeks but it was just the angle.

I'm guessing boy. Those look like a "turtle"- triangular three lines, which would mean boy. Girls have three lines in a row, or close to it, which look like a hamburger sandwich.

That's a boy! That L&D nurse obviously doesn't know much about gender detecting with u/s This is 1 penis and 2 scrotum (=3 "lines").

The last pic is more ambiguous. The first one is very much a boy!

yes exactly!! I am so confused!!! Yesterday was my anatomy scan and of course baby was rolled up in a ball and the tech could not even get any measurements. I go back next wednesday morning for a rescan.

Good! Hopefully you will get a clear answer! I can see where you have seen enough to cause doubt!
