Hey guys.
As so often seems to happen, I've been having a mysterious outbreak of the same question just seemingly randomly from 48 different people this week and I need YOUR help tracking down where it's coming from. I can't go through every bit of info so if you know where it's coming from gimme a heads up, I'd appreciate it and then I can change it.
References to sugar between meals and/or not mixing protein and carbs for pink swayers?
I am assuming there was either something written not clearly or something I was originally speculating about that I'm not any more.
Just to clarify, pink swayers - anything with sugar or more than like 5-10 calories WITH A MEAL ONLY
Anything artificially sweetened or zero cal - ok between meals.
You do NOT have to eat ONLY carbs or ONLY protein at meals. It is fine to eat protein and carbs together for pink swayers and in fact you will probably HAVE to to be able to get enough food intake for the day. Blue swayers MUST eat protein and carbs together at every meal and snack but that does not, therefore, mean that pink swayers can't eat them together. Blue swayers are doing LOTS of things differently and it is fine for pink swayers to mix protein and carbs together.
The only exception to this, is barely an exception, just something we were speculating about - for people who must eat breakfast for work or health or exercise reasons, they ~may~ want to eat just protein or just carbs together for just that one morning meal and then eat protein and carbs together at their later meals. If you have already skipped breakfast you do NOT need to do this for your morning meal (even if having 3 meals.) This is ONLY for people who have to get up and eat and run to work right off the bat or whatever.

And...sugar is fine to eat for pink as long as you don't have PCOS or tendencies that way (are over 38, have history of gestational diabetes, more than 30-50 lbs to lose, gain weight very easily, start on regular standard LE Diet and gain weight or do not lose it) Just have it with a meal.
Some people actually may HAVE TO have a fair amount of sugar/white carbs to keep weight on or to keep up milk supply when breastfeeding.
This idea that "sugar sways pink" or "sugar sways blue" is really not true and it's all very much more complicated than that - sugar is something that every individual needs to look at their history and needs and adjust things accordingly.!!! This is good to hear atomic! I'm one of those that has to eat breakfast for work (and my sanity!), and I've been having eggs, sprouted bread and peanut butter. That qualifies as protein mostly, right?

The rules are different for you, Maximbella, since you got girls eating what you're eating and because you're having trouble keeping weight on.
I would normally have people skip the bread and have just eggs - both PB and bread are carby. But PLEASE do not interpret that as what I want YOU to do, because it isn't. Just keep doing what you're doing.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
