    Waiting for O

Is it possible to O and never get a pos OPK? I'm on cd23 and neg again today. If I keep dtd eod is that ok for blue? I dont want to go overboard and bd every day but I'm afraid of only getting in one attempt.

Also, Is it possible to tell if you're having an anovulatory cycle if you don't temp? You can still have AF right?

Yes it is totally possible to never get a pos OPK and still ovulate! Just keep going with EOD, it's good for blue (the reason I don't recommend it is largely because many men can't keep up with that pace, if your hubby can it is fine to carry on)

It is possible sometimes to know if you had anov. cycle because when "AF" arrives it won't be on time, and it will be possibly really light OR really heavy and not follow the pattern of your normal AF. (so spotting for many days, or one day of heavy bleeding and then nothing, that kind of thing)

    Waiting for O

This happened to me when TTCing and ended up with my DS3! I didn't think I would end up conceiving that month!

I agree, keep BDing EOD if you can! I'll send you all of the blue, baby dust I have!

I had that happen to me two cycles ago. I never got a positive on opk, but went in for an unrelated ultrasound (was having severe pains and doctor wanted to check it out) and the OB confirmed that I had O'd. My opk's never got dark. It definitely can happen! Are you temping?

No I find it all too stressful and I have to get up at different times in the mornings, sometimes 5am sometimes 6am.i wasn't even going to bother with the opks but I'm a bit of a control freak too! When do you think I should stop testing? Cd24 today, still neg.

RE when to stop testing just follow your gut on that. As long as you're doing EOD then you're covered either way, if you want to continue them I think that's fine too.

AF cd27 never had such a short cycle in my life. Always in the 30s. So annoyed I was actually getting a better line in opk yesterday. It's never taken me more than 2 months to get pregnant which I know is really lucky... this was my 2nd month ttc.
I stopped breastfeeding in Feb does it take a while for things to settle down after? Had my first pp AF in March.
Do you think I should start temping? Dd5 Is in the room with us and I was afraid of the beeping thermometer waking her. Also I'd have to take it at 5am every day :/

Ok question - since your cycle is usually longer, when did you start doing the OPK? Sorry if I missed this somewhere in the thread, not seeing it. I'm just wondering if maybe we need to do OPK sooner.

I wouldn't bother with temping in that case.

Yes it can take a while for your cycle to settle down but then again 27 days is a lot more regular a cycle than 30+ days. So it may be that this is actually a good sign, you may be surging sooner.

I started opks around cd11 or 12 just in case. Never got anywhere close to +. I had a 29/30 day cycle last month. Not sure exactly, as I can't remember if I had proper flow or just spotting as cd1
