So from my research I know that all these medications I am on sway pink, but is it too much when they're all taken together? Or does it just make for a stronger sway?
Birth control low estrogen pill (stopping first cycle before TTC)
Adderall 30 mg
Metformin
Potentially Clomid (haven't talked to doctor about it or asked about interactions with the other medications)
I'm also probably going to take
soy iso and vitex (if not using clomid)
cranberry
saw palmetto
Folic acid
b12
Pregnatude (or more likely just myoinositol)
I'm also currently taking
Vitamin D3
Calcium
Magnesium
for severe vitamin D deficiency, but plan on dropping the vitamin D 12 weeks before TTC
Just FYI I'm also planning on LE diet, skipping breakfast, 60 min exercise 6 days a week, DH on LR and cranberry, frequent release, and 1 attempt at opk.
I desperately want another little girl. Seriously, if i believed it worked I would totally be doing some of that mad scientist sh*t (are we allowed to do some light cursing on this site?) with the test tubes and incubators. But is this too much? I don't want to over-do it with the medications and supps.
One more question! I'm seriously narcotic and obsessive like 1000% of the time. Always stressing out. I know that raises testosterone in most cases, but doesn't it lower if you're always like that? I conceived my daughter in a very stressful time (when i was crazed as usual) and conceived my son in the least stressful time of my life. I know it's probably just a coincidence, but i guess I'm just looking for someone to tell me it's okay to be crazy and obsessive during my sway
Thanks in advance for any suggestions or antidotes!![]()

Yeah some of that stuff is not gonna work out. Do you have any reason to be taking Metformin?
I think you need to take some time to check out the Adderall with all that stuff. If I was making a plan for you that's the first thing I'd do!
Saw Palmetto makes birth control pills not work. So you can't start that till you're off the BCP.
I don't suggest starting vitex, soy iso, or SP till you've had at least one AF off the BCP. I've found people taking them too soon after coming off BCP make it take a long time for your cycle to come back.
Pregnitude is like "poor man's Metformin". If you ahve metformin, you don't need Pregnitude.
Why B12?
If you need the D for deficiency please just reduce to 2-3 times a week instead of dropping totally when ready to TTC.
No, "testosterone" (using the quotes because we do NOT even know that it is testosterone, but the control freaky stuff that sways blue, we're talking here) does NOT lower if you do all this stuff. Aside from whether any of it even works (or potentially possibly sways blue) the more organized and detail oriented you have to be, the more it undermines your sway. So if you're already that person and it's great that you understand that you are, the more important it is to not get into the mad scientist stuff (which it doesn't sound like you are, but just warning you that's the point.)
Stress is a funny thing. It actually can sway pink (and has been shown to in studies) when it's really intense and largely out of your control. It's swaying that is the problem. Swaying is the exact type of stress that may possibly sway blue because you get so focused in on the stuff you're doing, there's these little successes all the time that manage to feed the beast. So just proceed with caution, don't treat swaying like this puzzle to solve or a game to win if you try hard enough.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thank you so much for the quick response! I'm on metformin and birth control for PCOS. Does the saw palmetto just keep the bcp from working, or do they cancel each other out? I only ask because I don't really need the birth control to work as a birth control, so I'm not sure if that will change whether or not I can take them together.
I was planning on taking the birth control right up to our first attempt (stop taking on CD1 and try at first ovulation, usually CD12 for me) because I know coming off birth control usually sways girl, but would it be a better sway to wait until I have a full month of vitex and saw palmetto off birth control before we ttc? I've always conceived on the first try so I'm assuming this time it will happen pretty fast again.
Also I meant B6 lol.
Thank you for filling me in about the different types of stress, I will try to be mindful of that during my sway! I will definitely have to try to not focus on it lol.
Sorry for being so uninformed, there is so much conflicting information out there!03.15

Saw palmetto actually prevents birth control from working (which indicates that yeah, it's actually cancelling it out somehow). Since SP has been disappointing, it's a big mistake IMVHO to pursue SP at the expense of BCP (especially since you can accidentally conceive while taking them together!
No, it's not a good idea to wait to take vitex and saw palmetto. They have been disappointing results (seriously) and the first month or two coming off the BCP has been vastly superior, so it makes no sense to miss those BCP months in favor of V and SP!!
B6 does NOT sway pink and very, very likely sways blue. Many of us, myself included, got boy opposites after taking it ostensibly for swaying. Plus it really messes up people's cycles as well. I don't recommend B6.
Please don't apologize, just ask about whatever is confusing and I"m happy to explain the reasoning as to why we do things the way we do.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
