    Fertilaid or other?

CD1 today after a very exhausting delay. I really don't want to wait 7 months this time to finally get my BFP. DH isn't really doing his part to really treat his gentlemen very gently (he works outside a lot, wants to start running again, etc), he does what he can when it's most convenient. He said he would be open to taking a supplement to help boost his little swimmers, so I'm wondering what's out there that's over the counter - just to give it a try. Would it be helpful for a boy sway? or not so good?

Fertilaid is ok. It's not my absolute fave since it does have maca which I don't trust, and ginseng which the jury is out on, but if you can only get him to take one thing, instead of taking the Mens' One a Day over 50 PLUS the carnitine (both of which I do totally recommend) and the grapeseed and coq10 which may also help all in one.

The motility boost I don't like. Too high a dose (I think it has something like 8000% of B12 or something!)

Count Boost has that much B12 again plus more maca and more ginseng plus some other things that I have not seen anyone take and so I don't feel confident about signing off on it per se.

SO to sum up, Fertilaid is ok (but I prefer combo of Men's Over 50 + carnitine instead) and if you want to take one of the other ones, I'd do either motility boost or count boost and not both because that would be an insane dose of B12 and even though that is supposed to be ok, I feel like we know soo little about how the vitamins really do affect us that it just makes me really nervous to see anyone take such a huge dose.

oh and I'd add in a probiotic if he'll take one. I do think those help more than we realize (and the probiotic critters actually MAKE B12 so if there is any benefit to be had from a megadose he'll still get it.)

Thanks, we decided against the extra stuff due to some of what I found on it later. I did get the fertilaid, we are going to give it a shot and see how it does. I have another diet question, but I'm going to post it in a more appropriate location...
