Coffee and Alcohol (TTC a Girl)

I am personally of the opinion (not terribly popular opinion, but based on a lot of research) that short of being an insane coffee drinker or raging alcoholic that a little coffee and alcohol even daily does no real harm to fertility for most people.

Tons of people around the world drink wine, for example, daily and still have children that way. And I know gobs of people who have always drunk coffee or tea (myself included in this group) and have gotten pregnant easily that way. Now, the rules are different for people who may have underlying health issues or other things going on in terms of fertility that may be exacerbated by coffee/alcohol but for the general population I think they are fine (and I would not, of course, recommend anything I believed to be harmful!)

In terms of amount, my thinking is, anything more than you were having will only sway pink. So if you were having no coffee, and have a cup now and then, that will still possibly help your sway so I would consider adding it in (unless you are completely uncomfortable doing so). In terms of the Irish Cream, I'd have it with a meal only and yes, if you're on the fertility diet, it is a source of sugar that you really probably do not need and I'd tend to skip it.
