    Breakfast

    Another question sorry all!

I can't skip breakfast...I won't make it through the day lol. I have delayed it until 9 though so I eat at 9, 1, and 5 and then have a 16 hour break until the next morning.

I used to eat nutritious protein waffles every morning and switched to buttermilk eggo waffles. I've been eating this every morning for the last 4 months thinking this wasn't very nutritient dense and very carby. I just today noticed that it said "has 10 vitamins and minerals" so now I'm paranoid this is the same thing as eating a fortified breakfast cereal. 😔

Any advice would be great. Wondering if I've been doing this wrong the whole time.

That is fine, you are doing it just right. There is no magic to it, the magic is the overnight fast which you are doing already. Personally I have to eat fairly soon before bed or I can't sleep and I just found it easier to skip breakfast but everyone do what works best for them.

Please don't worry about the nutrients in the waffles, that is ok, but if you can possibly find some unfortified ones (like storebrand ones I believe have less nutrient fortification in them) that may be better.
