Struggling to track sodium and potassium

I've been on the diet for a week now and I'm happy with how it is going aside from tracking sodium and potassium. It is never listed on the nutritional information label and sources on the internet differ.

It is easy to record cals, fat and protein but I don't want to mess the diet up my not getting the other elements right..... any advice?

I don't think most people bother tracking their nutrients like this anymore. The idea that individual minerals sway girl/boy is a old sway tactic that doesn't hold water. Increasing amounts of all nutrients sway blue. The LE diet will be designed to have lower (but still healthy) amounts of all nutrients so if you're following the diet (within fat, protein and carb limits) think the mineral stuff should just fall into place.

I was under the impression that I had to track sodium and potassium on the LE diet. Great news if I don't have to [emoji16]

Don't track potassium or sodium. Both are essential to the body and you'll get enough through foods provided you're not starving yourself or being overly restrictive with diet. Tracking them is not only unnecessary, but it will just drive you batty.

Try Self.com, it has fairly reliable info.

The sodium limitation, most of us totally gave up on. It didn't work and our results have only gone up since we've moved away from it.

Potassium on the other hand, it's important to be sure you're getting ENOUGH. 2500-3500 mg. This can be sometimes a challenge on LE Diet so I do sometimes like you guys to track loosely till you're certain you're getting enough.
