WOAH! Difference between nub at 11 weeks and 12.5 weeks!

I have a friend who recently got IVF and was successful. Something interesting came up in regards to nub theory and I just had to share!

So because she's been at a fertility clinic and had some spotting, she ended up having an ultrasound at 11 weeks and 12.5 and got a nub shot at both. Super rare! And we found the difference between the nub in both images quite shocking.

This is proof that a nub shot before 12 weeks is NOT going to be a good predictor. We were pretty split on the 11 week ultrasound, but given it was pointed upward many of us were convinced boy. The theory was that once it goes up it won't go back down, and we even thought we saw testicles in one of the shots.

You can see from the 12.5 week ultrasound that this baby is ALL GIRL! So fascinating!
