Good fats, yes!!! Avocados are healthy fats that’s are excellent for egg health. I have PCOS as well, and they made a huge difference in the size of my eggs from immature, to plump and healthy. Olive oil is another great fat to incorporate in your diet.

Yes fats are important! You'll stop ovulating without eating enough of them. 50-60g fat is recommended for PCOS diet.

Hi Girls,
Thanks for replying. I will include fats in my diet. So i only need to eliminate carbs from my diet, which is a difficult task.

You don't need to eliminate carbs for PCOS, just reduce them. If you're eating the 50-60g fat and the 50-60g protein, then that by itself helps reduce the amount of carbs. It is best to stick to whole grains and skip sugar.

Hi Ksmom,
Thankyou for providing me all the useful information. I feel blessed with this site. One more question i wanted to ask is dairy allowed on PCOS?
TIA

Yes, but only full fat dairy. Make sure any dairy fits into your overall totals for the day.
Good luck to you!

60 g of fat in the PCOS Diet is absolutely fine. NO ONE should be eating zero g fat when TTC.
