    Cardio - 6 or 12 weeks?

    Hey ladies,

Are there any fellow thin PCOSers here who can share their exercise habits with me?

Is it recommended for us to leave exercising for 6 weeks before attempt ? or do the 12 weeks ?

    Hi!

I'm a slim PCOSer. I've been walking for an hour a day, five days a week. I have lost a little more weight than I'd like, but I'm stable and not dropping any more now. I've been exercising for 20 weeks now. I planned to do the 12 weeks then TTC, but I ordered Clomid online and it arrived too late, so I waited another month and have only just attempted and am on the 2ww now.

I think it's good to exercise if you can.

Hey lagirl, that's my worry ! That I would lose too much weight. How have you been able to hold steady? More calories or do you think you plateaued?

So much pink dust your way hon! Fingers and toes crossed for you

TorontoG77 - I’m in the UK and used Dokteronline. I saw your question on the other thread. Still no luck?

Dreamgirl18 - I ended up increasing my whole grain intake. I’m vegan and was struggling to get enough protein too as I’d dropped my juices, smoothies and protein powder, so increasing whole grains like brown rice both increased my protein intake and has helped me hold steady with my weight.

Lots of pink dust to both of you ladies too!!!

PCOSers - I do like you guys to do exercise but you should probably start off at less than the 60 6/7 and then see how it goes. Let your weight loss be your guide...start off doing moderate exercise and eating more cals than you think you'll need, and see what happens. Weight may fly off and then you'll know to eat more and exercise even less OR you may not lose any weight and you can start eating less and/or exercising more (I'd not do them together, the key here is gradual changes over time)
