Two Successful Sways... Maybe trying again!

I have had two successful girl sways - both were very different! Now I’m wanting to have one more baby girl (I’m a carrier of a genetic disease that only affects boys) but I’m nervous because my lifestyle is different and I’m worried about swaying boy.

The first was pretty traditional IG sway:
    Cal/mag supplements
Frequent release with a cut off

However - my diet was very girly and I didn’t know. I never ate red meat. Ate many vegetarian meals a week. Walk/ran an hour a day 5x a week. Always have been smaller (not overweight)

We got pregnant first month of trying. It was a girl!

    Second sway:

Found this website (thankfully!) learned about LE diet. Dropped supplements. Went vegetarian plus lots of “diet” foods. Low fat. Went couch potato method because we were moving and I didn’t have time to workout. Lost 5-7 pounds over 6 months.

    Cycles were off. Got Clomid.

Got pregnant with clomid on 6 month of trying. We thought we BD’d through ovulation with frequent release, but I ovulated late and we ended up with one attempt in fertile window.

    It was a girl!

    ••••••••••••

Now I’m starting to warm up to try to sway again. I have avoided the topic for almost 5 years because it was seriously the most stressed out I have been.

But my diet is very different right now.

I developed gestational diabetes with both pregnancies and I just can’t eat like I used to.

I just lost 5-7 pounds by changing my diet and adding more fat but eating less & less often.

So this is my concern - girly tendencies:

I drink a lot of coffee.
I always use artificial sweeteners (but mostly stevia)
    I don’t snack or overeat
    I prefer chicken.
    I always skip breakfast.
    I have low sex drive.
I don’t workout (but can start walking more)
We would only have one attempt.

I’ll stop my daily vitamins... I just don’t know if I can eat less protein or fat and be able to only eat 2-3x a day.

DH is overweight, low testosterone, acidic (if that plays into anything), drinks coffee all day long with me.

Do you think this is enough?

I think they say that Clomid is the single best girl sway you can do, better than diet and the works, so if you're not taking it this time, then this sway won't be AS good as your 2nd. But it still sounds like a good sway to me. Just keep taking Folic Acid because that is important for avoiding birth defects, and I believe I read on this website that it sways neutral.

Yes - I’m unable to get Clomid this time (as I’m ovulating regularly and my doctor wouldn’t prescribe it)

Thank you so much! Yes I need to keep the folic acid (I need to go to the store and get some that is by itself)

HI again! I'd like to go over this in more detail but I'm getting to the end of my day here and would like to do it fresh - can you bump this for me?

In the meantime here is a thread that has a couple alternate diets that will be better for you: https://genderdreaming.com/forum/gen...rt-3-pcos.html

Yes! I have been looking at the PCOS LE diet

I just started tracking my macros and I’m well within the protein and fat limits (both around 60 grams). I think I’m going to be good! I never snack. I skip breakfast. My blood sugar is always low (I get the shakes easily.

    My DH just started OLE.

We’ll do one attempt at pos Ovulation test.

I’m staying pretty relaxed and chill.

    I’m 33 and my DH is 35.

Should I try to get Clomid online??

I should also add that I just lost my mom (completely unexpected) at the end of December. So that major life event has lead me to rethink swaying once more. I heard a major loss in the family seats girl as well.

I don’t want to not do enough to sway - but I also don’t want to stress about everything like I did with my second.

I guess I want some reassurance that I’m doing enough - without getting so worked up like last time.

    Thank you
