    Bmi question

How important is it to lose a bit weight right before conceiving? I知 not losing much very fast cause I知 doing 1500-1800 calories. I知 one month and a half on the LE diet and lost 3kg. When i conceived my DS1 i was really skinny probably underweight 55kg and when i conceived DS2 i was 59kg. Is it also ok if im staying in the limits but not losing weight before conceiving?

Atomic has said before that weight has not been a good predictor of success for pink sways and I agree. Depending on your bmi, if you can lose weight then great but if not that's okay too. I was the skinniest I'd ever been when I conceived DS3 so despite losing weight and having a low bmi, I still got a boy. Trying to time weightloss with conception is just a recipe for disaster anyway. Just stick with the diet and you're fine.

I知 definitely not a swaying expert, but for me it hasn稚 seemed to matter. I was at my highest weight when I conceived my oldest son, was a lot smaller when we conceived our second son, and was very thin when we conceived our third boy (current pregnancy). I知 also an l&d nurse so I see tons of pregnant women, and truly all shapes and sizes have boys and girls, there doesn稚 seem to be a pattern at all.

It's not at all important and it's been shown again and again that it is not anything to worry about. Just let it go.

Time on diet has been predictive of success. Amount of weight loss is much less predictive. And timing when you lose the weight has not worked at all (and in fact causes tons of control freak stress that could possibly sway blue.)
