    Newbie!

    Hi,
I’ve been lurking around for a couple of days now and gathered up so much information! It’s been great! Thank you 😊
I’ve just recently had a tubal ligation reversal and researching into ttc a girl after 3 boys ❤️
DH and I are in our early 40’s, so time isn’t on our side.
My question is, how soon would it be appropriate to start the LE diet, and would it be worth me looking at a personalised plan? I have quite a bit of weight still to lose, - after losing 8kgs (17lbs) pre surgery.

So really looking at my next move.
    Thanks
    😁

Well, time is not on our side here so I would not have you wait, as soon as you get the all clear from the surgery you need to be TTC IMMEDIATELY that cycle.

I am not quite sure what you mean by "appropriate"? Do you mean for recovery from your surgery? That is a bit outside my pay grade and I"d have you ask a doctor about when it's ok to diet.

If that's not what you're asking, you need to start the diet right away as soon as possible (once you have doc's ok) to be sure you have as long on the diet as is possible before you are able to TTC. Whether that's in 2 weeks or 2 months or whenever, the more time on diet the better. We have best results with 12 weeks or more on diet but I do not think you should wait around if you are able to TTC any sooner, because we never know when "Goldie the Golden Egg" might show up!

    Ok sure!
Dr has given me free reign ( diet wise) , so I’ll start that while recovering . He said 1-2 cycles post surgery, depending on me, I’ll find out more this week.
Thank you very much for your response [emoji16]
