    Hi Everyone,

Any have thoughts on peanut oil, chips, hummus, chick peas and their affects for swaying blue?

I would try to keep vegetable fats to a minimum for swaying if at all possible. We have evidence that indicates a higher % of your fat intake from animal fats vs. vegetable fats is better for blue.

If you're a vegetarian, don't panic, just use coconut oil. While it's plant-based, it resembles animal fats more than things like peanut oil do. And also focus more on the healthier oils such as avocado and olive oil if you need oil, instead of peanut, corn, soy, vegetable oils.

Chips are fine but are empty calories that will make you gain weight. They certainly don't sway blue in and of themselves. I generally suggest getting more of your food intake from nutrient dense foods and keeping things like chips minimal

Hummus is fine as are chick peas.

    Hi Atomic!

I have a small question diet-wise and wanted to avoid starting a new thread altogether for it, so hijacking here:

Your input on goat and sheep milk, cheese and yoghurt for blue swaying please? We get that a lot here, but I mean as a bonus to cow's milk dairy, not replacement, and it is full-fat. I know you say animal fats are yay for blue, so just checking there isn't anything to stay alert about on these?

And another question while I'm at it (I have no shame) - black tea, you say a couple of bags' worth a day is fine, is a bit of plain herbal tea (like chamomile, nothing funky, no special 'herbs', just evening herbal infusion) ok to add to that?

    Merci

I think goat and sheep's milk/yogurt are wonderful for blue!

As long as it's not peppermint or licorice then herb teas are fine BUT I would have you keep any given kind of herbal tea to no more than 2-3 days per week to avoid any potential medicinal qualities they ahve that we don't know about yet.
