I’ve been tracking my ovulation and I have always seemed to get positive on day 14-16. Well this month I decided to try the advanced ovulation test. On day 14 at 10am I got the solid smiley. Nothing before that. The last BD was 1am that morning ( technically day 14). Well since then I went back to the old OPK and kept getting negatives. Today is cycle day 17 and still no ovulation. I have a 2cm follicle. Do I BD again and risk it???

I would BD again since it's been 72 hours and your chances of conception will be quite slim from the CD 14.
I suspect you did O with the CD 14 solid smiley (it IS totally possible to just go straight to solid smiley without any flashies) and now this next BD is just in case you didn't.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

so, I just had a positive OPK on the clearblue digital (not advanced). Day 19!! super late for me...I've been tracking for a long time. I'm afraid it's too late to BD because closer to ovulation means most likely boy, right?!?!

Timing doesn't work. It's been as debunked as it is possible for anything in science to BE debunked. I recommend BD right away (but have just one attempt, since one attempt DOES really sway strongly - and don't worry, that last BD is too far in the past to count as an attempt) It very well may be that you did O with the earlier pos OPK but this will cover us in case you didn't.
If you want to read the full case against timing it's here: https://www.genderdreaming.com/forum...le-timing.html!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
