Hi All,
I am debating if I should go vegetarian vs. vegan for my upcoming sway. Assuming I stay within my limits for either diet, is there any benefits to going vegan over vegetarian? I think I will have more options if I can include some cheese in my diet, but if it's correlated with a less successful sway I would rather just skip it.

I conceived three boys on a vegetarian diet. I’ve been eating vegan for the last several years so time will tell if it makes a difference in my case!
To answer your question I think they both help so long as they are high carbohydrate.2007

I believe this decision is 100% up to you. I know many people on this site have had luck simply going vegetarian. Vegan would work well too. I don't believe cheese or dairy sways boy on its own, but high calcium does? I think that is what atomic said on one of my threads.[8-20-08]

Vegetarian is easier to stick with AND is much better for keeping you ovulating.
We honestly do not know what is better for a sway, vegetarian or vegan. At first blush it would seem "oh yes vegan must be better" BUT because vegan diets are carbier than vegetarian, they can activate underlying PCO-tendencies and the higher amount of carbs can, for some, raise blood sugar and testosterone. Many people who are prone to insulin resistance/PCO/lots of weight to spare will actually be better off not only for fertility but also for their sways by sticking with vegetarian and having some dairy and cheese rather than beans/soy since those things are quite carby.
Some carbs are good for swaying pink, but for those with PCOS/IR/more than 30 lbs to lose, too many carbs can raise blood sugar and testosterone, harming egg quality, messing up ovulation, and possibly even undermining a sway. So take all that into account when deciding whether to go vegan vs. vegetarian.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!
