    Snacking on pink sway

    Hi again! I’m in the two weeks waiting and for some reason unknown to me I’ve had 4 days with the compulsive need to snack. This happened about a week after our attempt. Of course these snacks are nothing like the snacks I used to eat. Those “snacks” were more like mini meals. My current cheating included things like a bit of Chex mix, a few olives, small amount of peanuts, artichokes, and a few bites of cake. Did I completely ruin my sway? I looked over the cheating sections of the index and if this was in there I totally missed it. I’m sorry.

    It's that post O prog rise that does it to you.

    You did NOT ruin your sway. We try to keep on the diet during the 2WW because some science indicates that XX may develop best in lower glucose environment and so we don't ahve to start over again every month that passes (since we know based on results that 2 weeks of diet is not enough, we need 12+ for best results.) But there is a TON of wiggle room between going off diet totally for 2 weeks out of every month (which is what some people think they're going to do - NO) and eating a little more Chex mix or an artichoke here and there.

    Cheating on LE Diet is not only allowed, but encouraged. I took that all into account when I made the diet! It gives your body the chance at nutrients it may need a little more of, but most important, it helps you stick to the diet to know you can have what you really are craving at any point in time. If you want something, HAVE IT! The key is that you don't try to be good and end up eating 3000 calories of Craisins and rice cakes, only to say "oh screw it" and eating a whole pizza (the thing u wanted to start with) and then everything else that isn't nailed down, telling yourself you've blown it anyway and you can always start over tomorrow. It's so much better to just have a slice or even 2 of pizza, kill the craving, and i'ts likely you won't even go outside the limits if you did that!!

    The crazy thing is, once you know about this, start looking at your normal life and you may find (as I did) that you have lower willpower all together after ovulation. Always the time of the month I blow not only diets, but also money-saving plans, housework schedules, and all sorts of funny things! The body is soo weird!
