Hello, I am new to dream access and have just seen this area!
I am 41 in April, understand fully that my fertility is on the decline but would really like to know straight up my chances on a take home baby through IVF with an AMH 4.1 pmol/L and FSH 11.6? The fertility consultant in the UK where I did my tests gave me 3 years of eggs left and a 20% chance of success, however the clinic we may go to overseas has given me a 50% chance? I have cycled previously (3 times) on the GnRH antagonist protocol (Gonal 375iu and Menopur 150iu using Orgalutran 0.25mg and Ovitrelle to trigger, results without one transfer, mostly abnormal.
My overseas consultant wrote me the following:
"I have never been a supporter of GnRH antagonist since these do not produce a uniform follicular development. The best way forward is to suppress ovarian response using an agonist prior to stimulation. The suppression agent must not be in the form of a depot which has a prolonged action. Rather this must be managed with daily dosages. It is imperative to have a fresh hormonal profile so we can evaluate hormonal injection dosage and assess chances for a positive result"
Do you think this new protocol would be better for me? This clinic also provides sperm sort.
I would really appreciate a further opinion and to know the reality.
Thank you so much
