Comments regarding DW's diet changes-

I had been following LE PCOS version but was recently diagnosed with an under active thyroid and chronic anaemia so it proved hard to continue. I slackened off on the diet but was probably still within the upper limits. I didn't snack, ate 3 (sometimes 4) small meals daily and skipped breakfast religiously.

If diet was used, length of time before attempt?

I was on and off a strict version of the diet for over a year prior to attempt but had been a lot less strict for about 2-3 months when ttc.

I was 20.7 at time of attempt

I had lost maybe 3-4lbs in the week or two directly prior to conception due to illness. It was not my lowest conception weight though.

We were doing e4d as I find opks stressful but DH was ill so it ended up being O-5 and O day. I'm thinking conception was on O day, or what I think was O day. I usually track CM and CP but the Clomid threw everything out of whack for me.

Any additional supplement info?

Took Clomid days 3-7 for swaying purposes. Also was taking Zyrtek antihistamine for severe seasonal allergies. I was also taking penicillin for a respiratory infection so was totally thinking this cycle was a dry run (literally - cause between the Clomid and the Zyrtek it was drier than the Sahara down there!!! A total first for me as I can always tell when I O based of CM but this time I hadn't a clue and am really just guessing O day based on period tracking apps!)

Things that make me feel great about my sway:

Taking Clomid I guess and the fact we did J&D which was a first and had an O day conception cause our previous have always been O-2 or O-1. I suppose the fact I was a lot less anal when ttc compared to every other time when my DH referred to our style of TTC as "military"! Much more go with the flow which goes against my personality type entirely.

Things that make me nervous about my sway:

Lack of a more structured sway. I was so much more chilled this time - I think if I'd had it much more planned maybe I'd feel like this baby could be a girl. No real diet as such and zero cardio. Also I just don't think we can make girls anyway.

Things worth mentioning:

Either way I am excitedly waiting for one final (hopefully healthy) baby and the gender doesn't matter as much as it once did. That's all thanks to my fabulous sway opposite who taught me that we truly always get the exact child we need, regardless of sex.
With my thyroid condition and anaemia I really don't think I could have done a hardcore sway like I did in 2015 so I just have to be at peace with the fact I've given it one last try and that has to be enough. We're hoping to remain team green so I'll update as soon as baby arrives! Thanks all at GD, especially Atomic xx

Edited to add: We found out today that these little ones are 100% one boy and one girl and we are absolutely over the moon with the news! Thank you thank you thank you to all you lovely, supportive ladies on this forum. I've been through a "failed" sway and a mc on these boards and you have all seen me through. It was quite by chance I found this site but I thank my lucky stars for the day I did cause I honestly and wholly believe that without the knowledge gained here I would not have the family I currently have. My darling third son who is my world and these two little ones growing in my tummy. Thank you Atomic for all you do. You have made ALL my dreams come true [emoji170][emoji173]

Thanks ladies [emoji173] I will be sure to update (and possibly post a nub shot after my scan in 3 weeks lol) though I'm fairly adamant we remain team green (watch this space - my resolve Will surely crumble given half the chance!!) Small update - discovered it's actually TWINS today at 14+5! One must have been hiding at my 6 week scan!! I think we will find out gender now in 5 weeks so will be sure to update then [emoji173][emoji170]
