New to Pink sway and I'm 43.

    Hi everyone and Atomic,

I'm new here. I have been browsing the website for the past few weeks and decided to ask for your help.

I have 3 healthy beautiful boys aged 13, 8 and 20 months, but would love to have a girl for the last time. I was secretly hoping for a girl in my last pregnancy but ended up having another boy (don't get me wrong, I love him to bits)... I didn't know much about swaying then. I just wish that I came across this website earlier!

I know that time is running out for me, so I would appreciate any suggestions for getting pregnant and having a girl. I conceived all my boys naturally. I had a miscarriage 5 months before I conceived our youngest. I'm still breastfeeding twice a day. My husband will be 41 this year.

I started LE diet after I came across this website, which hasn't been easy, as I always had strong boys diet! I'm currently taking 1 Folic Acid a day which contains 500 mcg of Folic Acid and 196.2 mcg of Potassium iodine. Do you suggest more Folic Acid? I eat a lot of soy products (I'm Japanese). I'm skipping breakfast and just having coffee with some almond milk. Would soy milk be better than almond milk for pink sway?

    Hi and welcome Kia!

I had my daughter at 42 (after 4 boys!) This is possible but time is not our friend here (as you know.)

Rather than the super carby form of LE Diet I would have you on the atomic fertility diet here http://genderdreaming.com/forum/ttc-...-sugar-issues= This will be much better for your egg quality and may make it easier for you to conceive.

I think you should skip one attempt and go straight for e4d (that is unprotected sex every 4 days in a Monday/Thursday pattern, not those days per se but that many days apart) starting the day after your period ends and continuing till when you're certain you've ovulated even if that means going straight through till when your next period begins.

I would have you switch to folate if that is at all possible or else a folic acid without the additional iodine. It's fine to take that level of iodine, but only 1x a day. We like you guys to take 1500 even up to 2000 mcg folate or folic acid a day and you can't take that in the form you're taking it currently, since you'd end up taking way too much iodine if you did. I do think you should take more than 500 as 1500-2000 may help prevent chromosomal abnormalities with the egg in addition to neural tube defects. Take the higher dose folate/FA all thru the first trimester of pregnancy and then gradually wean off by spacing doses further and further out till down to one per week, then you can drop them.

Soy is fine if you're used to eating it already. Most people I suggest keeping it to 2-3 servings a week but it's different if it is a normal part of your diet and your body is accustomed to it.

Almond milk has seemed to sway pink. I had to have the blue swayers stop using it since it seemed to make so many opposites for them!!! So I'd stick with the almond milk.

    Hi Atomic,

Thank you SO MUCH for your advice!!! I'm sorry for not getting back to you earlier - my youngest has been a bit unwell... Anyway, I'm so happy that I have found you for pink sway advice!!!

I bought some Folate today (500 mcg each tablet), so I will take 3 tablets each day.

Also thank you for your advice on trying Atomic Fertility Diet instead of the normal LE diet. I have to say that changing the diet has become easier as time has passed eg. no red meat and skipping breakfast. I am probably a bit more relaxed about it as well, compared to when I started a few weeks ago!

I have heard that it's better to avoid potatoes, bananas and tomatoes (high in potassium?) for pink sway. What's your advice on that?

I got Implanon removed about a month ago, so I guess it will probably take a while until my ovulation is back to normal...

    Thank you again, Atomic.

Oh no worries, remember it's not your job to get back to me, it's my job to get back to you.

Sounds like you're on your way! Good luck and pink dust!

You do not need to avoid those foods on LE Diet. The ONLY reason those foods were ever said to sway blue was because in the mineral balancing diets like IGD and FGD, they were drinking/eating tons of dairy which has lots of potassium. So the only way to both limit potassium while including lots of dairy was by cutting out other potassium foods. But on LE Diet you will not be doing the tons of dairy and most of us actually have trouble getting ENOUGH potassium for our bodies to function (2500-3500 mg and that is the same amount on all sway diets since it's the minimum amount needed for your body to function.) So we actually need to keep eating them - really makes it a lot easier to get enough potassium if you keep eating them!!

FWIW I limited potassium and got my 4th boy, and with my daughter I ate tons of tomato stuff and potatoes (she is seriously like 30% potato or something LOL). That's the way it's been for sooo many of us - we got boys on the mineral diets and then did LE to get our girls.
