Hello
Is there any new study that talks about sperms life? For how long do they live inside the womb?
When do we say it is a too early attempt or too late attempt?
If we have an attempt one day before positive OPKs, is it too early? Should we have another one?

I got pregnant this time from an attempt the day before my pos opk. I think i ovulate within a day of my positive though and I'm very regular. But you can easily get pregnant often up to 3 days, sometimes more, before ovulation.

DS2 2010
DS3 2012

Last baby due June 2021! It's a girl!

The question is not how long sperm live, it's how long do they live and are able to fertilize the egg. While old research was able to pull some old sperm 5-7 days old from the repro tract and it was still "alive" kind of, new research shows that practically speaking there is only a 4 day window of O-3, O-2, O-1, and O Day that really ends up leading to most conceptions. There is a very small minority of conceptions from longer than that, but it's like 1 in 10,000, one in 100,000, one in a million kind of thing (depending on how old the sperm is) And O-3 and O Day are both much lower chances than O-2 and O-1.
I would say that in most cases the day before the day of positive OPK will be low chances especially if you're on Clomid/Femara and you should probably have another attempt. But some people would prefer to have only one attempt longer, others prefer to add an attempt sooner.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I don’t know if this is helpful but I took clomid days 5-9, BD day 14 then got a pos OPK day 15 and fell pregnant. I’m still trying to let it sink in! I do feel like it’s was a miracle, I really didn’t expect it to happen because our next attempt was day 17 so just felt like we didn’t have a great chance but here we are!!
