    Vitex "feelings"

I started taking vitex the cycle before last and I felt like something was happening but what I don't know well anyways I have noticed over the last week or so I'm so much more aware of my uterus and ovaries like I imagine I would feel if I woke one day with a penis I would constantly be aware of it being there I hope this is making sense well what I'm wondering is, is that common or is this all in my head?

I would think its just being more aware of whats happening down yonder. Having kids and trying to ttc really makes you aware of what is going on with your body.

I ask my husband if he is aware of his penis, and he says no. It seems normal to him and he doesn't notice it as a 3rd leg most of the time. If he had to monitor it monthly for when he had to conceive...we would be in BIG trouble. Lets be glad thats on the woman's side.

I don't know what it is because before the vitex I was never aware like this... I know men don't really notice their penis only because I asked my husband before but I guarantee if I woke up with one I would be aware of it all day being a girl and all... I would normally only be aware of my ovaries when ovulating and my uterus at random time when my c-section scare wants to bother me during a intense sneeze or something I normally never notice both together I'm pretty sure I'm just crazy its kinda like my phantom baby I feel move and kick at random times that drives me insane I'm always terrified I will turn out to be one of those I didn't know I was pregnant people though that is highly unlikely as I and 4'11" and I highly doubt I would go the full 9 months before figuring it out plus I have very regular cycles and I would notice the whole lack of a period too! LOL

I used vitex to conceive this time around and notice it right away. The very first dose I took. It worked because I conceived first month on it. I could feel my ovaries kind of pulsating and 'gearing up'. I took from CD5 to CD13 and once I came off it ovulated about 2 or 3 days later, around CD15 or CD16.

I've notice when taking vitex I can actually "feel" when I am going to O by getting O pains/cramping. I never had that before when I had never taken or was taking vitex so I think it is possible to 'feel' things in that area.

Gosh, now I'm excited to take my first dose today. I'll also report back if I feel anything on the Vitex.

I took vitex this cycle and I had very strong ovulation pains. I don't usually get pains, I didn't get them when I took vitex to conceive my boys.

I think the herb does make you feel things more. I also believe this is not just the effect of the herb, but a combination of the herb and the fact that we are all trying so hard to get everything just right. It makes us hyper aware. Its like when you get a new car and all of a sudden everyone else has the same car or you pick out a baby name and all of a sudden you hear the name everywhere...

I started Vitex on Monday. I'm currently taking about 1200 mg per day. I was very anxious to see what effect it would have on me after reading everyone else's. I can honestly say that first day I felt some twinges down there. I definitely know I wasn't imagining it. It's let up though. Right now I'm not sure if it's the Vitex or my diet, but AF has been super light. After the first day I actually thought it had stopped and wondered if it was really AF or breakthrough bleeding since I took my last pill. I'm assuming it really was AF since it started up again the next day and the flow has just remained super light. I'm hoping the Vitex makes me O earlier than usual though, just to get away from the regular 28 day cycle I normally had.
