Lap band and ttc girl

My SIL got lap band about 6 months prior to getting pregnant. Today they found out it is a girl. I assumed they would conceive a girl since the diet seems like you can't really eat very much at a time and probably are hungry. So just makes the diet even more convincing to me. Anyone know someone that has lapband and conceived a girl?? I am just curious and thinking like usual

Yes, I know of a couple of diff. people who had gastric bands and conceived girls afterwards. One lady conceived 4 boys before and 2 girls afterwards without swaying!!

I also know of one person who did conceive a boy after the band surgery.

I'd LOVE LOVE LOVE to have the resources to do a real study on this.

Hi only just seen this, i had a gastric band last year and lost around 3 stone since getting it but still have lots to loose but i got my bfp last month. So im not really much help as i dont yet know the gender. I also used other swaying factors, i hope i get my girl.

I must say though that with the band i am not hungry. Just cant eat as much but we dont need to as feel full quicker and fuller for longer.
