    What about an uncooperative DH?

I'm swaying pink. I'm doing my best, reducing stress, exercising, doing a vegetarian LE diet and taking my folic acid, fiber supps and baby aspirin, as well as cinnamon in my coffee and alcohol in the evening.

DH, on the other hand, is allowing me to sway, and will be there to BD when asked, but that's it. He won't do any supps, won't change his very high protein diet, won't stop his Olympic-style weightlifting (he's in a weightlifting competition this weekend,) and won't even change his boxers to boxer briefs.

I GET that stressing out about his lack of cooperation isn't going to help my sway (and might damage it) and so I'm trying to just do what I have control over and not sweat the rest. I'm just wondering if there's anything I can do in particular to compensate for him not being a part of the sway?

    Any advice, atomic?

I need an essay on this I know but please don't worry about it. It's your condition that matters most of all. My husband did nothing to sway other than randomly began smoking a pipe for no other reason than sheer weirdness and we still got a DD.

Thanks again, atomic. I'll see if I can sneak in an antihistimine the day of for him, but I doubt I'll be able to do anything except get him to drink a few beers before the BD.

The good news is that I do all the cooking, so I have been able to lower the amount of red meat (I cook separate meals for my family) and he HAS been wanting to drop a little weight to get into a lower weight class for competition.

This is an incredible exercise in letting go and allowing what will be to be... SOOO hard for the boy moms!!

He will say, hey remember that is bad for your sway..let it go. He is too funny.

Mine is much the same. He will do stuff if it suits him. He likes hot showers and baths so that's something. And he has agreed to 2 veggie dinners a week. My only problem is that we both have stressful jobs so can argue quite a bit. I try not to and just to take it but there are times when I can't and there are times that he really is being a total d1ckhead and I am raging. Then I think about my testosterone levels and get angry with him for raising them, then I get angry that he has made me think about testosterone.....argh

I think as atomic says, it's your diet, lifestyle etc that counts, we must try not to worry what DH does or doesn't do.

My DH sounds like yours! He is a big work out guy with heavy lifting, all kinds of strange/steriodish supplements, high protein, etc. My DH wasn't willing to take any supplements for swaying or change anything he did. With DS3, we did drink insane amounts of crystal light and it made no difference.

I agree that just doing what you can will make a big difference. Try to cook more chicken, pork, and turkey burger meat based dinners (tacos, chili, etc.) and lower the red meat. I m not a big fan of red meat so we only have it once a week in our house since I cook the dinner!!
