Don't let one day cause you to push back your attempt! It's necessary to cheat when sick! Just pick back up in a day or two, and you'll be fine. Yes 1-3 days off track is fine! Remember that this is still MUCH different from what got us our boys.
Hope you feel better soon!!

I agree, although you probably ate a little more often than normal they were all still girl friendly foods, no meat, lots of high carbs, low fat and low protein!
Today I made a pitta bbq pizza.... 1 wholemeal pitta sliced in half and a tablespoon of bbq sauce plot between then both. Then sprinkled with reduced fat cheese and grilled. I did have a bag of Tesco fries (crisps) with them and then a mini twister ice lolly (under 50 cals and low fat BTW!)
That was at about 11am, then I did an hour or so of cleaning, early tea of 3 bread rolls with a little bit of heinz sandwich spread. I also had about 6 starbursts to give me a boost to do my exercise as was feeling so weak and almost bailed on exercise, but managed to do it!
Af should be here tomorrow or Friday and then it's all go for first and hopefully only attempt!

I gave myself a cheat day yesterday squigglepink, I just really needed the restrictions lifted to just get it out of my system!
Today I managed to keep so busy I didn't have my first meal of stir fried veg and noodles until 2.30pm! Finished my meal with an apple and a yogurt. I then went for an hours run and had my last meal which was a bit of a mish mash - left over cheese and ham toastie (1/4 plus crusts), 3 crumpets, 2 with grilled cheese, a cinnamon and raisin bagel and a few crisps. Sounds a lot but still under 1800kcals?!x

You girls are so good, don't have a clue if what am eating is right, so today I did an hour cardio when I got up, then had my first meal at 12 o clock lettuce, tomato and chicken salad, washed down with gallons of coke zero, then dinner I had pasta with cheese and garlic bread, that is me until tomorrow at lunch time. I chew chewing gum through out the day, that is fine right? And drink drinks regularly throughout the day, that's OK as well? Thanks

I think as long as meeting goals for cals and fat etc. And avoiding red meat, lots of potato or salt then we are good :-) I drink tons of diet coke through the day too, was having a coffee in the am but think I may move this to my lunch time meal just in case.

What's the deal with Diet Coke? Is it to take place of coffee? I ask because I drank loads of it with both DS1 and DS2. I avoid it now. I can't do coffee since I am nursing, and I don't think decaf coffee sways much since I drank 2-3 cups a day when we were trying for #3.
I do the alcohol though, this time swaying. Only 3-4oz since I'm nursing. I never drank when TTCing before. If I did it was the occasional light beer or wine.

I think it's for the sweetner in it. And maybe because people who drink are more likely girl mums as it keeps the calories low and fills the stomach up until meal times

I've seemed to notice two camps of girl moms where I live- Midwest USA.
1. Skip meals, usually breakfast. Seem high strung-intense. Drink coffee. I see them with a take away cup of coffee in the am and again in the pm. Don't have time for exercise but are SUPER disciplined with diet. Either low-cal, low-fat, very little meat, healthy with a sweet tooth for fruit candies or pastries. No chocolate or ice cream.
2. Exercise. Cardio junkies. Avoid coffee or anything perceived as being empty calories. Healthy eaters. Mainly vegetarian but some eat lean, white meats. If they do have anything sweet, it's a bite or two of a small amount of chocolate. No snacking between meals. Don't skip meals though due to exercise. Drink alcohol regularly in evenings/night to relax/unwind. Watch portions. Don't worry about fat/protein as much as keeping portions small.
I've surveyed a lot of moms of only girls. They usually approach me while out and about with my boys. They always comment on how well behaved they are and how handsome they are. They then share how they always longed for a boy. Some even always miscarried a boy [emoji20]. Then I share how my DH longs for a girl, but I seem to only make boys. Then we talk about our habits.
My grandma totally fit into the first category. She had three girls- my mom and aunts. She directed me to the second category, which she told me about. Her youngest sister fits that category to a T.
I am definitely category 2. I love my exercise too much! Plus, I do need a tad bit more calories with the breastfeeding so I feel this is the better option for me.
I think you could blend the two as well for a nice sway!
Thanks for reading. I'd thought I'd share, since I've talked to hundreds of girl-only moms!
