Ok I had conceived 2 girls and 4 boys and I have no idea how I conceived those genders what way.
I'm wondering could anyone help and see what you think.
We lost our second dd at 21 weeks pregnant a few years ago and since then conceived boys and I'm desperate to conceive a girl again.
DS was trying for 4 months. Didn't know my cycle by month 4 was getting desperate so dtd a lot and I think I conceived doggie style sorry tmi.
DD was conceived 2 months after our wedding. We conceived first month. Wasn't really trying just stopped using condoms. Had come off the pill month before. Did the deed one night after a night out me on top sorry tmi and We had our dd.
Then after that I conceived and had a miscarriage at 9 weeks.
Had to wait 4 months to conceive again as was waiting on bloods etc and conceived first month again by having a lot of sex can't remember position etc and conceived a girl we lost at 21 weeks.
Went on another 4 months to conceive again first month by doing SMEP and accupunture and conceived a boy
Then we decided to have another but just thought we'd leave it to faith and try. DTD one Saturday night thought I was ovulating and then realised following Saturday night I was actually ovulating then as had loads of ewcm so tried that night again and conceived another boy.
I always thought because I conceived 2 girls without much effort it would happen again but it didn't so we said we would actually try.
Before we got a chance to try it was dh birthday and we got carried away. Started to dtd and stopped and used a condom and low and behold another son. A scan at 9 weeks said I did actually conceived on that night so knew then it was another boy.
So here I am now ttc baby number 6 and I had never planned to have this many but I really want to try to fill that gap in our family.
I have been dieting since end of August. Have only lost 10.5lbs though but trying to keep at the diet and just constantly researching what I need to do.
Can anyone figure out what I did do differently to conceive the girl pregnancies and what I could try this time.
Thank you for reading if you got this far.

I am so sorry for your loss. That is so, so hard.
What you did sort of plays into the theories on this site. Coming off longtime birth control seems to be a girl sway tactic -- which you did with your first DD. More frequent sex seems to be a strong boy tactic too, which you mention with some of your boys.
Ultimately, it's still all chance and tipping things in favor of certain chances. So it's not necessarily that you did ONE particular thing each time that was the defining sway characteristic. It's all sort of a spectrum coupled with chance. But even from what you've described, there are some things that seemed more girl or boy friendly at the time.
Diet and lifestyle are big ones though. Were you truly eating the same amount the whole time? As active the whole time? Etc.? And husband/partner always brings LOTS to the table, too, so what he was doing has an impact as well.
Really hoping you get your girl!

Yeah I'm overweight and always trying to lose weight and gaining again but always before conceiving I'm never on a diet after dd1 before I had the miscarriage I had lost 50kg but had gained a lot back after the miscarriage and definitely wasn't dieting before I conceived dd2 or I wasn't on birth control either.
I wondering did I get my dd1 from coming off birth control but I hadn't been on birth control then before dd2.
I'm beginning to get really down about it all. We are hoping to try this month but I'm not hopeful it will work and dh says we shouldn't try if I'm going to be upset about another ds.

I was underweight when I had my daughter and exercising a lot and also watching my food , I did none of these with my sons and was a stone heavier. So I'm running , eating after 12 and again after 5 and losing weight .
Clomid
Fibre
One attempt in fertile window . Just not sure when either at a positive opk or on second day of flashing smiley

We are going to start this month. I'm getting quite anxious over it. I found it hard last time we found out we were having another boy and I don't want to go through it again. I feel so distracted by it all. I'm just wondering if I'm making the right decision. 6 kids is a lot, this wasn't the plan plus youngest doesn't sleep.
Just kinda freaking out that I managed to conceive my dd because I had just came off birth control and this time I won't have a chance as not on birth control. Also haven't managed to get my diet under control.

Atomic - do you think the birth control pills helped me conceive my dd1. Is that the missing link why all the other pregnancies were boys apart from my dd 2 but I lost that pregancy and was not on birth control pills before that pregnancy.
