I've been on GD for a little while now, but would like to post what I plan on doing for my sway next month to see if there's anything I forgot or should tweak! Thanks to whomever for your feedback
Supps:
Me - folate, fiber
DH - fiber, ole
*LE diet
*abstain for 7+ days, then one attempt (DH is 31)
Trying not to make our attempt too complicated & just stick w/ the things that have a higher success rate. I do have a few questions though. One, what sort of lube should we use just in case when we do DTD I'm on the dryer side? I read that spit is bad, & not sure that I should do rephresh or etc.? Two, is it true from what I've gathered that cranberry & lic root are supps that are no longer recommended? & three, definitely no more baby aspirin correct? I had read somewhere in the past to take it, but now feel like it may have caused my m/c in nov after reading something from atomic on it?

I was on a diet for months before with lots of cardio, lost 15 pounds on a small frame, lost my period and then went off the diet. I panicked and ate normally for a few months and then got preg 3 months after the first time my period lengthened. I was on minimal preg vitamins and high fiber and veg diet. I didn't do anything else. Hub ejaculated about 15 times in a week before having sex with me and then we did one attempt 8 hours after we got a smiley on a digital ov test. We then "stuck together" after sex for a few min, he pulled out SLOWLY to not waste semen and I put my pelvis over my head for an hour and watched a movie. I ovulated almost 24 hours after the sex and then I was pregnant! I have a gender scan that seems to confirm girl. The doctor says it's 70% girl confirmed. So...there might be something to it. I am due in July. I got preg in October.
I would say, keep it simple. LE everything.

I didn't do anything like aspirin or anything. If you suspect it caused a miscarriage, drop it.

I wouldn't have thought anything of it, until I came across a post where atomic said (I think) that she suspects the aspirin may be causing m/c! I'm annoyed at myself for not having come across it sooner. I had really wanted a july due date!
Ah well. Congrats to you!! So you didn't get back on the LE diet after realizing you stopped having periods, correct?
I think I'm following the diet pretty well, I may download an app to better keep track of what I'm eating though.

Any lube NOT marketed as "sperm safe, conception friendly" is fine. Too much may cut odds of conception though. If you don't get pregnant fairly quick we'll need to drop that in favor of the sperm safe kind but start off without them.
No more LR. It's gotten pitiful results for the past several years and I'm totally giving up on all the herbs from here on in.
I don't know who was planning to take cranberry but I never recommended that for women, and for me, cranberry OR OLE, not both. No one take cranberry and OLE.
RE baby aspirin - yes, some scientific data has come to light that for some people, aspirin may contribute to losses. Plus we know based on our experiences it's had a lot of side effects, and the science indicates it's risky for mothers' health too. It does nothing for swaying - we've tracked it and it hasn't helped at all - and while it can help a minority of women who have blood clotting disorders to get and stay pregnant, this DOES NOT APPLY to the general population, some of which may be actively harmed by the aspirin. So I am not using it any more except for those who insist upon taking it or need to for clotting disorders (Just let me reiterate here - aspirin does not cause, and in fact prevents miscarriage for those with clotting disorders. If you have been taking aspirin due to a proven clotting disorder, please continue taking it. This advice is ONLY for people using it for swaying and who ahve been told "aspirin prevents miscarriage" without having been tested for blood clotting disorders. Do not self medicate yourself with aspirin unless you know you have a blood clotting disorder.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Okay - when do you apply the lube, is it right before you have sex? Sorry just want to make sure lol, I've read so much stuff over the last few days [emoji23]
Great, so no cranberry, no LR, no aspirin. Only DH takes ole correct, not me?
I'm not missing any other supps that are generally recommended for a girl sway, correct? I'm sure there's a lot of stuff I *could* add/remove but, just in general? Lol. Thanks a lot!

Yes right before sex, just use however you would use any lube to start with. We may reduce amount over time.
Yep only DH takes OLE
I sometimes give DH soy milk.
The supplements, time after time, have not worked and all of them carried tons of side effects that were irritating, all the way up to swayruining (because people stopped ovulating or got so many BFN that they gave up swaying totally and did whatever they could do to get pregnant super fast.) And NONE of them even worked anyway - all had much lower success rate than the overall success of the site. So I am totally phasing them out starting this year - I'm not recommending them at all any more even to really young couples (which I used to do that)!!! Oh I forgot another few questions! XD
I *do* have a bottle of prenatal dha pills laying around... Could I start those right now, or wait until after bfp?
Also, I feel like I know the answer to this already but want to make sure... I bought my DH some ole but in soft gel pills instead of straight liquid since he could barely stomach it in just liquid form. That's hopefully nearly as good as liquid form?? & what is a good dosage to aim for daily as far as mg? 1 pill says 680 mg...
Thanks again!
