Yeah, but I don't recommend the French Gender Diet.

My advice is for LE Diet.

Does anyone know of a brand of milk that is low sugar?

My skim milk I have in my fridge right now says it has 12g sugar per serving. I compared the full fat version of the same brand and it also has 12g.
    Nutrition Facts | Galliker's Dairy

Lowest one I've been able to find online of any brand is 11g...

    am I missing something???

All cow's milk is going to have high sugar.

Soy & almond off the top of my head are going to have lower amounts of sugar.

You don't have to cut out sugar though, just enjoy it in moderation

That being said - the sugar in cows milk is naturally occurring!

It is milk sugar, aka lactose.

    It is in all milk.

Is there a reason you're trying to avoid this?

yes the "sugar" in milk is not added sugar, it's a naturally occurring element of milk. It's in all milk.

Well, the thing is that people who are on the alternate PCOS-type LE Diet actually DO have to avoid sugar.

But that is ADDED sugar and carbs, NOT the naturally occurring sugar in dairy products. That's ok but people on PCOS friendly version of LE Diet need to have ONLY full fat milk because the skim dairy is really terrible for raising their blood sugar levels.

Soy and almond milk still have carbs though and for many people on the PCOS-friendly version of LE Diet they will be by far better off just having full fat milk rather than soy or almond.

I don't know that it is, just that I felt I needed to clarify since quite a lot of people are on that version of the diet. There is sometimes confusion so whenever I see any potential source I just like to clarify.

Everything I'm reading is saying to avoid skim milk because of the amount of sugar in it, but to drink full fat milk instead.

I've been drinking skim milk basically daily for my entire life... even 1% seems fatty to me, so I'm dreading switching to full fat.
