Hi everyone,
A few weeks ago I had my second early loss. I am beyond sad and frustrated. I was using some extremely hardcore swaying techniques before the first loss so I guessed my first loss was related. This time I was extremely careful. I avoided medications, supplements, and herbs. The only sway methods I used were femara, diet, and cardio; but it still happened.
Is there anything I can do to reduce the risk?
Also:
I'm taking this month off. Next month the doctor wants to do an HSG exam.
I think they inject a dye in your tubes. Does anyone know if attempting in the same month you have this test done sways pink or blue?
Thank you so much.![]()

I'm so sorry for your loss.
I had an HSG done a few years ago after my losses. I got pregnant with DS3 that same cycle but I don't believe it swayed blue for me. I know someone that had a HSG done and conceived her DD that same month so I don't believe it sways either way as it's just a test using dye. I DO believe it helped me conceive a sticky baby though as the radiologist told me I may have had some "debris" in my tubes. Let me know if you have any questions at all about the HSG, I'd be happy to share my experience!'12

If there was anything that worked to prevent early losses I would have you guys do it. Most early losses are chromosomal - something not right with the sperm or the egg or the way they combined and your body just pulls the plug on it. It's mostly unpreventable but some people believe taking about 2000 mcg folate or folic acid and 400-600 mg Coq10 may help.
HSG I believe to be neutral after seing lots of people get both boys and girls after having it.
So sorry for your loss - and please let me know how I can help.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

Thank you so much. I’m going to take a month or two off. I would like lighten up on the sway a little bit more and add a few supliments to strengthen my body. I eat a vegan diet and I usually supplement with B12, D, and Omega 3 because they are not very plentiful in my diet. It’s been around 8 months since I’ve taken anything but a small amount B12 and the folic acid. Do you think it’s a bad idea to take the supliments?

I would take them 3x a week as the compromise solution.
What about iodine, zinc, iron??? Those are way more important than Omega 3.!!! Questions??Check out the NEW and improved Complete Index !!!

I am so so sorry for your losses. I just had a loss in February, and it’s so hard. (((HUGS)))
Make sure to take methylated folate instead of folic acid. I have the MTHFR mutation and it’s estimated that 25% of the population does. Anyone with the mutation cannot take folic acid as the body cannot use that synthetic form so it’s worthless.

great point!! If you've had repeated losses even if you haven't been tested switching to the folate does no harm and may help.
