Great - I'll go out tonight to look for some once my Mom gets to town and can stay with the kids.

BTW (and apologies to everyone else for the TMI), I had one more big clot come out last night, and it contained grey tissue that I think must have been the sac they saw still in there on my u/s. Hopefully this means my uterus is clear now and the bleeding will stop soon. I have a follow-up u/s scheduled for Tuesday, then a doctor's appointment on Friday, so hopefully I'll hear everything's healthy.

That definitely sounds like sac. I hope that this is the end of the m/c Mocha. My thoughts are with you, Hun~xoxo

You don't need a prenatal-folic acid is good BUT, I would seriously consider Flouradix. It's got highly absorbable iron in it- you'd only need to take one bottle for a months time. It has some B vitamins and plant extracts in it that would really help your body to heal, get your iron up and help with conception. I do think the sway is important but IMO the health of your body is much more important. xoxo

A nice serving of Organic Liver will also give a lot of iron and since it is from food it is better absorbed. Also some foods are rich in calcium but they can affect absorbing other ones - Spinach is rich in cal but affects iron.

Very true, pp! I just feel like this has been such a crappy Fall - in the past 3 months my beloved kitty died, my father was diagnosed with cancer, and now I've had a m/c. I'm sooooo ready for 2011 to be over and have a fresh start with 2012 and (hopefully) a new baby to love!

Yeah the whole sperm thing pisses me off too or the comments, "Hope this is a girl!". What if I dont want a girl? How do YOU know what I want?? Please bear with me.... I'm a little bitter this morning My DDC on Mothering is FULL of second time moms all finding out that they are getting their pigeon pairs. It's making me so angry!!! And it's not because I don't think these women deserve a girl or vice versa...it's because they are so F$&@@n smug about it! One lady wrote a post about thinking it was a girl after 2 boys but decided not to tell anyone her thoughts in case she was wrong. She sounded sad but a little scared to mention GD in the post. So, stupid me decides to tell her about my situation and about how I would love a girl in my life, and that I would be DISAPPOINTED if I got a boy for my last. The big D word! God forbid! Well, a bunch of ladies with mixed genders or PP's posted after me and basically made me look like an idiot including the OP. Im just pretty bummed and angry at the same time. Yeah, I might be getting a girl...but I'm still pissy at these women who think you should absolutely happy no matter what you get...and then complete their next sentence with "I'm so blessed to have one of each cause I know we could never afford 4 kids!"

Oh yes- about absorption- take your iron supplement on an empty stomach(I take mine at night) with a shot of OJ Vitamin C aides in absorption

I totally know what you mean about that smugness, DM. I encounter it all the time. I'm quite vocal about wanting a girl, and I get a lot of dirty looks, etc. - it's such a taboo thing to admit!

And yes, I was planning to avoid all those 'Hope it's a girl!' comments by waiting to make the big announcement until after I know the gender for sure.

DM- that is not nice at all! You should tell them that just because you want a girl it does not mean you are not happy for a boy.
And until they know how you feel they can save their comment because they have no idea what they talking about.
And wth is with the PP? I never wanted one.

i also have a Q here- so why is that we have to stay on the HE diet in the 2ww if the "baby" traveling have his own supply and don't take anything from the mom? or does he?
But if not the what's up with this" need to stay on diet because baby boys develop better in high nutrition and sugar thing"?

Ugh DM, that sounds so annoying! I'm already getting the 'hope this one's a girl' comments - and it's a bit silly because of course I do too and I feel supported when you guys on here say the same thing but it's annoying because they're just assuming that's why we're having another (again, it's true so perhaps I've no right to be cross!). I guess I just feel protective of my baby knowing it could be a boy - it won't be any less loved or wanted than the others.

Flava - the important thing in the 2ww is to keep your blood sugar levels up because a male fertilised egg develops better in a medium glucose environment - it can't suck it up as efficiently as a female fertilised egg.
