It's no problem at all! Everyone here is so knowledgeable and willing to help. I really posted it twice because I was unsure if I put the post in the right section after I starting looking around some more.
But I did think of a few more questions:
1. I have read on here that both male and female sperm actually die off in fairly equal rates but for some unknown reason if you lower the sperm count it sways girl (let me know if that's wrong). So I understand the techniques to lower DHs sperm count but why does making less CM help? Is it just because it lowers the sperm that actually gets to the egg so kind of lower the sperm count once it's inside?
2. I keep reading about Rephresh and then some sort of gel that I think starts with an a (I forget the name and don't want to go back out now that I'm typing this). Should these be used together or is that overkill just use one.
3. Ok and then to lower DHs sperm count is there an overall way that is better as far as frequent release or abstaining? Also maybe TMI but when we abstain from sex for longer than usual for whatever reason the volume is much larger does that mean anything about sperm count? My guess is that the "good" sperm is less even though the volume is more but I really don't know.

1. Yes to everything you said!
2. You're probably reading about Aci-jel. It's only available in Australia/New Zealand but it's an acid gel which you can use just prior to your attempt. It doesn't last for 3 days like Rephresh so you'd use it closer to your attempt (many use a finger tip full around 1 hour before DTD). You can use Rephresh with Aci-jel (or Replens which is similar and easier to get hold of) but it may also be too much and make it difficult to conceive. You also have the option of using Sylk as a lube. You could start with everything and drop some aspects if you're not getting pregnant. I conceived using Rephresh and Aci-jel together.
3. There's no way of knowing how high or low sperm count is by how much semen there is - but I too read that semen volume increases with abstinence and decreases with frequent release. My DH has a very high pH so I wanted as little semen as possible in me! I think you also have to consider what is possible for you and what you were doing when you conceived your boys. My DH was a frequent releaser anyway and we did not want to abstain (he is over 35 and he also didn't feel it would be possible!) so he released twice a day and our attempt was the third time in 24 hours.2005
