MFC!!!!! YAY!!!!!!!!!! CONGRATS, girl! Don't worry for one second about the lines being faint. On all of my bfps that resulted in actual children, the lines were way light on 14dpo, so light that I could barely see and had to get a second opinion, in fact. All that matters is that you have lines and that lovely word "pregnant" there! I am SOOOO happy for you! Take good care of yourself and EAT girl. See, that thyroid didn't matter at all!

3P1B, love the pics! I am so glad you had a fabulous time, and I totally would have told DH to tell her the same thing. Screw them. Who doesn't come to a baby shower for a family member? Ugh. Anyway, love seeing all that blue. I also agree with the food theory for Natalie Portman, but also think maybe her T levels were elevated from the film. She also just met and fell in love with the father, so that tends to make you dtd a whole bunch, yea?
B- it is so weird that they had boys. It really makes me think it doesn't much matter. Not that I don't believe in swaying, per se, but just that it only helps a little. I was like you before.....I knew that it isn't a guarantee, but the swaying gave me such hope and really make me think it was like a prescription for making a boy. I think seeing so many of the CBBC crew come up with blue also made me really believe that it was a formula, even though my mind knows differently.
I think we all need to remember that there are only 2 kinds of babies out there- so it is 50/50. ANY OF US has a shot at either. There is just no way to "direct" the xy sperm there, even if you do everything that any swaying site has ever said.
And TTC5, I do the same thing, just plan on a girl as a defense mechanism, even though I don't care that much anymore. Thank you for saying you really believe we will have one naturally, I hope you are right. Each month that goes on makes the hope slip away more, but then I have to remember that it may take years. Literally. I look at "low sperm count" charts on FF and they have been ttc for 24 months and stuff like that. Sheesh. But girl, you have just as good of a shot with ZERO swaying that any woman does. It's 50/50! And although I don't mean to make anyone seem like they were unlucky to have all the same gender, sometimes it just happens that way.
I will tell you Begonia, I saw the cutest family yesterday with 3 little girls, and I totally thought of you and got a warm fuzzy. The couple was so adorable and the girls all super beautiful and each one a little different. You could tell the oldest was a tomboy and the middle more girly also, and the baby, OMG was so precious and just the little centerpiece of the family. You are really going to be fine and have the most wonderful little family. You just have to let it go and let it be. I hope you are doing ok, lady. xxoo

LBAM, how do you know your DH has low T? Has he been tested? On the one hand, you have a son already, so you know it is possible. If you are worried about timing, I would seriously just go every other day. I bet it is that EPO that is shortening your cycle. Shouldn't be a problem, just keep doing the opks and track it if you can. And don't worry about freaking out, we have all done it!

TTC5, I meant to also add that swaying CAN be very depressing if you are not getting pg quickly. I think you should just eat normally and just try to be normal you in every way and just dtd a bunch and see what happens. And the nurse's uniform costume is not a bad idea, LOL! (DM, you kill me!!!!)

MFC - congrats!!!!! Don't worry the lines are light, give it a few days and it'll be dark as can be
LBAM - Don't let the timing get you too crazy. There is no clear right way to get a boy or girl based on the women on these boards. Nailing O will increase your chances of a bfp period. Personally I always shot for a 4 day abstinence dtd and then waited till O or another 4 days had passed. I only dtd once after the +opk not to avoid O+12 but because my cm dries up quick and I didn't want to use lube as that's part of how I got my girls. I think your plan of focusing on diet and pH is great!
Thanks for all of your sweet comments about my pics! The shower was so great, everything bagged or wrapped in blue. We've waited so long for that, FX you all get this experienceChloe 3/1/2002,
