If ph if already low why do diet?

    Hi ladies,

I'm sure I have read this some where before but can't seem to find it so I'm going to ask it again, sorry. If your ph is low already why do the diet? Has the diet got to do with something else that we need to increase chances in conceiving a girl? Could the diet alone lower ph even more and therefore decrease your chances of falling pregnant all together?

My ph is usually 4.5 and at it's highest 5.75 at o time (which I'm really surprised about, I thought I'd be alot higher). Obviously I still need to go on the diet but just wondering.

oh and just one more question TMI, even though I may have a lower ph I still get heaps of EW before, during and after ovulation. Is ph and ew connected in anyway, I guess what I'm asking is the more acidic you are should you be more drier down there? I hope that makes sense.

    Thanks

1)To lower blood sugar, testosterone/estrogen, and nutrients, all of which have much more substantial scientific evidence backing them up than pH. Some people also believe that diet determines the concentration of ions present in the CM and that these ions sway. Diet is VERY important.

2)Some people think you need to increase calcium and magnesium ions in the CM.

3)pH and EWCM do not seem connected (in particular, some people seem to have copious amounts of low pH EWCM) but we are not certain how much either of them sway. A good number of people have conceived pH opposites and a good number of people have conceived EWCM opposites. Part of the problem is that it is impossible to know what's going on up inside anyway so we don't even really, truly know whether the pH and consistency of EWCM at our cervix represents what is going on where sperm meets egg.

4)Diet CAN reduce chances of conceiving, not only via pH/less CM but also by making your cycles longer and making ovulation a little more irregular. Trouble is, this is probably what is doing the swaying. Everything that sways pink, seems to do it by reducing overall fertility. You're looking for the "sweet spot" where you're not superfertile but still able to conceive.

Thanks atomic for clearing that for me, that makes alot of sense to me why diet is important.

In regards to ph and EWCM, I'm one of those who is lucky to have produced ph opposites :-). I have had and still have low ph but loads of EWCM every month, my aim is to reduce that EWCM and not get too stressed and worked up about my ph. Hopefully diet and supps will dry me up abit.

    Cheers again.

also, and perhaps key, if your body thinks times are hard (food is scarce), you're more likely to have a girl because male embryos are more vulnerable and girls are a safer bet for reproducing the species in the future
