YAYYYYYY BEC!!! I think she did test for bfns first....so this is probably the real deal!!! I am so excited to hear how it goes this morning for ya! And on the note about your friend- I know what you mean, it is always hard to see someone get what you so desperately want, but that is life....especially with infertility. Babies and preggos are all around me, and that's just the way it is. My sister is about to ttc and I'm sure she'll be fine....and I'll just have to remove my personal pity party self from that, like I do all of my loved ones and friends who are having babies. Anyway, I am so hoping this is a little bean for you!!!
2PNB: I would have slapped that doctor upside the head. I would most definitely call and complain about him. Search online about writing reviews for docs and such. He sounds like a real winner. I know you have issues with finances and switching docs....believe me, I have a ton of lab bills I'm still paying off from all of my testing, which was not cheap....but I think it may be worth it to do some investigating of a local doc who is recommended by women you know. And ya know, I agree with Bec about the online Clomid....I'm sure there are a couple of good online pharmacies, but I am just wary of that.
Kris, OMG.....I hope you are doing ok!!!! Hopefully they can get your ticker settled down soon enough with some meds if nothing else. Hugs, lady!
TTC5, I'm sorry you have the runs...maybe it is a good sign? Hope this is your month!
3P1B- holy cow, I would love year-round school so much!!! I wish they offered that where I live!! And speaking of that, I grew up in Houston and my family lives in Austin now....so I'm a pretty knowledgable Texan....pm me if you have any questions or need advice.
Alexis- I bet you are just fine, to be honest. Since you conceived recently, it may just be that it's taking more time now, for one reason or another. I do think it's a good idea to have the SA done, though, because male factor is the problem 40% of the time, and men's counts and motility and all can change month to month. For example, if your DH has a mild infection in his body, it can affect the counts drastically. Sometimes all it takes is an antibiotic for a week to clear it up and he's back to normal. Little things like that. And of course, it could be nothing at all but just taking longer this time around! It is very frustrating, though, I know. I would continue to just be as healthy as possible (both of you) and keep trying. How long has it been though? Once you hit a year, you should worry....that is the general rule for under 35s. Hoping it's all good, though. (:
MFC, how are you doing?
So, I think I ovulated yesterday. We tried and interesting new pattern this month. We dtd on CD10 and then waited till yesterday morning (CD14) and dtd then and again last night. FX for some better numbers this month!
