Welcome, Chocolate! Glad you're joining us!

    Yesterday (Friday):

2 C. black tea w/splash of rice milk
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    • Sautéed leeks, portobellos & white mushrooms, zucchini (courgette) and “no sodium added” canned tomatos w/a bit of chevrai goat cheese and quark…I’d never had “quark” before but it appears to be great for a girl sway!
    • 16 Sweet Tart candies
    • Zevia cream soda
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    • 3 sugar cookies
    • 1 chocolate crinkle cookie
    • Some toffee bits
    • air-popped popcorn w/a bit of pecorino-romano
    ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    Water throughout the day

I didn’t get to eat lunch until 3 p.m. b/c I was so busy yesterday. I usually eat around 1-2ish so I was starving by the time 3 p.m. rolled around. We got a package FULL of Christmas goodies so that was the extent of my dinner (and daily cals, fat, etc!!!). Someone pry the cookies and toffee away from me!!! AAAAHHHHHRRRRGGGG!!!

It was pretty yummy! However, I do find that when I stray from my usual pasta, it's hard to get my calories high enough. A veggie burger and homemade fries are surprisingly low in calories (and quite yummy)!

I went around carrying my son (30lbs nearly) in my front carrier for about two hours doing last minute Christmas stuff.

I thought I'd punch that into the myfitnesspal thing and it said I lost like 300+ calories doing that! So it uped my caloric/protein intake as a result. I'll still stick to my normal eating routine and not let that give me excuses to eat more, but at least I can't feel too guilty with the chocolate I sneak in at work sometimes...

(I have him in the carrier more often now that it's winter.)

I got my fiber supplements so took those before eating today.

Ugh, that sounds SO SO SO good (obviously, I'm veggie so, that's like... a normal meal.) I LOVE sweet potato fries. I should make some! How do you make them without oil/butter/etcetera without them getting hard as rocks?

And what veggie burger did you get? I'd worry there would be too much sodium in them. That's why I've not even looked at them!

    saturday:
    10.30am: 2 cupcakes
1pm: 1 choc brownie (I was out and about) and 3 choc covered marshmallows
5pm: leftovers korma with rice and 2 WW mini naan breads (they only have 90mg sodium each, and so lovely and soft!)
    8pm: 2 cupcakes

so not eaten particularly well today due to lack of time and disorganisation, but at least what I have eaten has been fairly lacking in nutrients and fairly low in calories

suregena - I found the best vegeburgers to be the ones with actual vegetables inside (rather than the meat substitute type!) and breadcrumbs round the edge. They can be fairly high in sodium but I regularly had one like that from Tesco and occasionally from Waitrose. I really enjoyed one of these in a wrap with a little mayonnaise - I actually craved them!

UK ladies - I'm sat here scoffing cheap sweets from Tesco and it appears that their Fizzy Multi-Coloured Belts (very sour!) and Mini Jellie Beans have around 100 cals and not a lot else per serving and both are vegetarian.

I was looking at those Tesco things the other day!

I'm making dinner right now... my current favorite of veg and basmati rice. And in the back of my mind I'm trying to figure out how in the world it doesn't take me over my limit because it just all looks so filling and delicious. I'm worried the veg will ruin my sway, too. Hahah. Mushrooms, green beans, and a bit of a mix from Waitrose/Ocado that is peppers, courgette (zuchini) and aubergines (eggplant.)

Why does it feel like it's going to make me sway blue?!

I know we are supposed to try to eat vegetables with as little color as possible... but it all looks so damn healthy and divine...

And, mmm... veggie burgers in a wrap with a little mayo! God, that sounds so, so good. I'll have to stare at all the veg burger stuff. I figured it wouldn't be the soy/quorn kind but the kind made with actual veggies.

I think I'm a little hungry. I had lunch at 3.30pm and it's almost 10pm and have only just started to cook dinner.

Tried creme fraiche (low fat/etcetera) in my rice tonight... I've never had it before. AMAZING. Hahah, delicious.
