Hey Rainbowflower....!
How many high days do you usually get with the cbfm?
Did your opk show positive as well?
I am just wondering as last month I never got a peak and I wonder if it was because my cycle was a bit shorter. This month I do not have a high and I am cd 12....so, trying to figure out when to dtd again!
So far I have cd 9, 10, 11 and wondering if I should wait until it says high or basically assume it is not working again this month!
So confusing!

it varies - sometimes I've had 7-8 high days before OV, other times I've had just 3. Last cycle when I used the CBFM it missed my peak (didn't detect LH surge) but OPKs did and weirdly I had 5-6 days of pos OPKs... I think BF was really messing with my hormones at the time! It's not the first cycle I've had where it missed the peak, though. I had one other cycle which was following my MC and it missed it then too so I do think perhaps it's more sensitive to hormone imbalances than anything.
this cycle already feels more normal so I'm expecting OV will be within a week
I've never not had a high on it. The "High" indicates that oestrogen levels are rising and it's the rise in oestrogen that triggers OV. The CBFM has to learn what the threashold for your oestrogen levels are before OV is triggered. Do you have EWCM? That's another way of telling when EWCM is rising so treat that as if the CBFM said "high" if you're doubting the monitor.
are you stopping DTD when you get highs/peaks?

What is bf?
I missed a high one month and went straight from low to peak. I think it is because I od late the month before...not sure!
However, I could read the sticks better than the monitor...lol
The estrogen is still fairly dark......but I have o pains! Maybe it is something else...I am sick!
I do not have EW but it is hard to tell....I have used some rephresh and there is semen as well...sorry if TMI.
I dtd cd 9, 10 and 11. I thought I was ovulating early as my temp shifted but I am sick so I went back to thinking I was going to on cd 14 or so like usual.
Are you dtd now or waiting until peak?
I am trying to figure out what is worse....get more in there to get pregnant...or take a break and wait for peak....but then I will have stuff in there from earlier! I will also be raising my ph right?
I think I screwed this month up again!

Hey ladies - I was out of town for the day and am just catching up now. Sorry your body's giving you such confusing signals, lemon - being sick with a potentially high temperature as a cause of that definitely makes it hard to tell when you ovulated!
I'm CD8 today, though I'm suspecting (and hoping) that I'm actually CD9 since I'm starting to think that full day of red bleeding I had last Friday was actually CD1. Still no spotting at all for the second day in a row (woohoo!), and my OPK is slowly starting to get darker. I'm still praying O comes before next Thursday! So far DH has released 4 days in a row, so 3 more days and we'll have the perfect frequent release attempt I had wanted (but didn't manage) last time I got my BFP. I think if we can do the fr properly, I'm definitely going to leave rephresh out of it since I think the fr alone (+ my other sway factors) will lower his sperm count enough.

Lemon, if you really wanna get preggo, I'd keep DTDing until you're sure you O'ed but use rephresh? rephresh should help with ph change from DTDing.
I think I'm going to stick to 1-2 times right around O and skip the rephresh and use Zyrtec.

Thanks aurora....not sure how much rephresh to use. I don't want to waste a month because I used too much.
How much? Pea size? half an applicator? The whole thing?
DH is also releasing.....he said he has very little to work with....maybe someone can help with this. When DH is releasing everyday does it limit the amount...do you think it might be too much?
I am still sick and also taking cold meds.....is this enough without the rephresh?
I read some blog about stats....frequent bding swayed girl!!!!
At least that favours what I am doing....no one else seems to do it because of ph I assume.
I really thought I would get a positive opk by now....and it is hard to tell by cm bc it is mixed with some represh and I only used a tiny bit!
The kids are at a birthday party...it is so quiet! If only I were not sick!

Will you stop after positive opk?
Or start at postive opk?

BF = breastfeeding
I confess I read the sticks too
we're DTD now - plan to roughly every other day (with a release + discard in between), maybe twice around OV though. DH said he would be capable of DTD daily until OV but that it would get boring, and should we have to TTC for a while I'd rather it was less of a chore for him.

Yes, frequent release reduces the amount of fluid but there's absolutely no way of telling how much or little sperm there is in the semen. The last time my DH released before our attempt there was hardly any fluid at all AND I did a Jump and Dump! IMO, less semen = less high pH = good!
Even Dr Shettles believed that frequent BD swayed pink, but for it to be frequent it has to be every day for 7-10 days. What Jen has done is ideal for frequent imo - her DH started releasing on cd1 then they started DTD when AF was over, so sperm count would have been lowered before she even got to her fertile time.2005
