Jamie, did you DTD since you got a smiley face?

We DTD last night so I'm hoping that was enough I was planning on doing 3 attempts but with my wacky cycle I think we missed it. Although yesterday was CD13 and we DTD and DH released inside on CD11 (kind of on a whim), nothing on 12, and we will probably DTD again tonight.

Editing because when I reread what I wrote it was confusing even to me so here it is
CD 11: DTD at night (released inside)
CD 12: Nothing: DH didn't release at all
CD 13: Smiley face in afternoon, DH released on his own and then we DTD at night
CD 14: Today and I think we will DTD tonight as well.

And just in case anyone is wondering I'm definitely not relying on timing as a swaying method and I decided more than one attempt was best for our sway

I'm going to keep taking ovulation tests just to see if anything else happens with them because I'm a little confused. Although I did get the signs I normally get right before I O last night, I was cramping a little and bloated.

Jamie, I think DTDing again tonight woudl be a good idea! Sometimes my OPKs stay pos for days, so I usually only really believe the first true pos I've had!

Well, FF is not my "friend", lol! Over the weekend it changed my crosshairs from the 13th to the 15th so I’m only 4dpo instead of 6dpo…Not a big deal but I wanted to test on Christmas at 12dpo but instead will only be 10dpo. Oh, well. I was looking at my charts and I always take a dip at 2 or 3dpo except my BFP chart…That one had no dip. I want to stay hopeful but my gut is telling me that this cycle will result in a BFN. This is my 1st time using RepHresh (as last BFP was an oopsie) so I’ll be scaling back for sure! I still plan to strap DH to the bed and DTD like rabbits again b/c I’m more “team preg” than “team girl” right now, lol.

I would so DTD a lot if my husband could handle it....I'm the one who always haggles my husband about getting some, and he usually says he's "tired" or "isn't interested"....he used to be a lot more into sex, so I'm hoping that because his sex drive has been in the dumps for a while, that will sway pink some, if he just doesn't have the "urge"...hoping that means low testosterone.

Auroara, I seriously have to drag DH upstairs when it’s BD time…He seriously hates it! TTC just plain sucks and is such a chore for both of us!!!
When it’s not TTC time, our roles reverse and it’s me who has to be drug upstairs. Seriously I feel like he’s “Peppe Le Peu” (remember that cartoon anyone???) and I’m that poor little cat who accidentally got a white stripe of paint spilled down her back. He just can’t get enough of me and I just can’t get away from him quick enough…

You’ve got a great strategy to BD close to/on O! Do what you can to get him in bed…maybe give him some chocolate or other aphrodisiacs! Sounds like he may indeed have low T so that is very good for you!!!

DH has only been doing frequent release for 5 days and I planned to have him do it 2 more days before we start dtd...but should I throw all that out now and dtd anyway just in case O is coming? I don't want to miss my egg, but in the past I've always had about4 days of EWCM before I O....

Mocha, I don't think you'll miss your O but I'm sure you'll know what I'd do...(insert DTD smilie here!!!) If you have to DTD in your MIL’s bathroom, so be it! You are on a mission so don’t let a little annoyance like the venue derail you!!!

Jamie, sorry I’m late to the thread and this is old news but I’ve had some really bad IC OPKs and some really good IC OPKs. I took a FR OPK alongside my good IC OPK last week…The IC worked really well for me while the FR never gave me a +…It really depends on the kind you get I guess.

I think you are having a great attempt this cycle and I agree w/Auroara…BD again tonight if you can!

I don't know where OV is either, no fade in pattern on OPKs yet, but I do seem to have some EWCM at least and "high" on CBFM

Rainbow, same thing happened to me this round...I usually get a discernable fade pattern but this time my OPKs went from almost white to + so O snuck up on me...

So I guess I'm going to post a ridiculous amount today but I now I'm a little more confused. I just took another OPK, mainly just because it had been 4 hours since I last went and I wasn't sure if that would happen again today, but the strip looked positive (and it hasn't yet) so I used the clear blue and got a smiley face again. I just find that strange because I got a smiley yesterday afternoon and then didn't use the restroom all night and got nothing this morning at 6 and then at 10:30am get a smiley.

Either way we will DTD again tonight. But I do have a question are OPKs only positive before O or do they remain positive during and directly after O?

Out of The Blue: I've heard that about the ICs. I think this constitutes as the same thing I get mine from target they are in a little tube with 20 to the tube and they cost about $15. I know I could get them cheaper online but I'm so bad about remembering to order them that after my 1st couple months using the online ones I forgot to order before my next cycle and just found those at Target and have used them since then.

Seems to be a pattern for all of us! Maybe that means we all get pink BFPs!

Jamie, I don't think you're meant to use FMU for OPKs so I would trust that it's another smiley for today. GL!
