I used 1/2 tube of rephresh maybe 3 hours before the attempt and I also took a zyrtec, so I didn't bother having dh release beforehand - I decided to rely on his 6 days of release + those other factors to lower his sperm count. I hope that was enough!

My cervix is even more open today but the cramping has stopped for now. I'm going to try my best to do at least 2, maybe 3 opks a day to watch for my surge, but I find it sooooooo hard to have more than one concentrated pee sample a day with all the liquids I'm drinking (3 cups peppermint tea a day, 2 cups RRL tea, up to 3 cups CL/Diet Pepsi). Anyone have any advice on how to do this? Normally I only have coffee in the morning then wait until about 1pm to do an OPK, then I start drinking all my stuff for the rest of the afternoon/evening...but if I want to get an early evening OPK in there how should I time my drinks? I did do one with FMU this morning, and it was -, but it was just an ic and I don't think you're supposed to use those with FMU.

Anyway, I suppose in the end it doesn't matter as long as we keep dtd and temping so I know when O has come and gone. Still praying it's going to come in the next 2 days....
Yeah im either going to try to test 2x for+opk this time one in the morning and middle of day,I always or strangeley get a + in the afternoon though but im not beleiving i will o any time near them though as i dont beleive they are reliable with me anyways. But i was going to suggest if your not already to pee in a cup and dip your tests ,as this might be more concentrated that way.And usually i have coffe in the morning then through the day my diet cokes and crystal light and evening peppermint tea,,but i have only 1 or 2 peppermint if any?

Thanks, Jamie. I feel much more relaxed now about the whole thing, so I think it was the right decision for me.

Thanks, sweetsister. I already pee in a cup and test that way - even with the mid****** tests. I like to always have the sample ready to retest with a digi if the results are ambiguous....

Mocha, I'm glad you DTD so at least you have some peacefulness about it, and less worry, I still hope O will come early...will you be DTDing tongiht too just in case? or skip tonight?

I also have made the connection (whether right or wrong) that Represh prevented me from concieving last month. It may very well have been something else totally, but I can't help to think the ph change really slowed or confused DH's swimmers. But then again, we did only BD one time, but it was directly on O day, so who really knows? Rephresh is easy for me to blame, esp. considering how it irrirated me so badly down there!

Jamie, sorry about the strange dream about seeing the boy bits
A part of my problem is that I did have the U/S dream that showed a girl and I was so gloriously happy in my dream. I never dreamed girl or boy pregnant with my boys or even before hand, and all of sudden, I have such serene girl vibes, I'm worried I'm being lured into "easing off" my sway, and that somehow my gut feeling of getting a "girl" will ruin my sway.

Jamie, are you in the camp that you feel that since you've had two boys it'd be almost impossible to get a girl? Or are you in the camp that you feel that since you've had two boys, you could be destined to get the girl? I'm the latter camp, but I'm not sure how much of it is true or how much of it is wishful thinking....(remember that song..."I'm the king of wishful thinking..." I'm the Queen of it!)

Jen, are you still going to test on Christmas day at 10 dpo? Did FF change crosshairs again? Do you feel anything possibly preggy-like?

rainbowflower, I read your post about crosshairs....u don't think you really O'ed yet, right?

Lemon, I'm glad you DTD again! Good job!

sometimes FF can be so frustrating!

I'm fairly sure we'll dtd tonight...and probably every night until I O at this point. I now have some rephresh in there, which will last another couple of days, so I want to get some more sperm in there to up my chances of pregnancy. I also might just use zyrtec instead of my usual benedryl/zyrtec combo...at least until I've gotten to 72 hours post-rephresh.

Here I go, going back and forth again on the represh issue! Now I'm thinking maybe I will just use it one time (a full applicator) and get a few attempts in....

I'm starting to get some signs of O coming up, getting some dull aches on left side and well the CM is more abundant, but not EW or stretchy at all...hoping the diet will curb some of the EWCM that I usually get tons of.

I keep telling everyone that I'm ready for next week to get here all ready and they all look at me funny, like, What about Christmas? I just want this work week to be over so that I can start DTD'ing later this week!! I am definitely planning more than one attempt, I would love to DTD like rabbits (ala Jen) but we'll see....

I still have to procue a stupid jeresy for my husband....I've asked him if he really, really wants that, and he's given me the look like, 'really? do you not love me'...I may have to buy my husband's body with a freaking jersey! I got a feeling if I don't give him what he really wants for Christmas he may not be in the mood to DTD!

On a side note, does anyone know what store I could purchase a good, solid back scratcher from? Hubby wants one but doesn't want a cheapie that's going to break.

auroara - that was sort of what I ended up doing - a one-time rephresh application when I'm still (probably) a little away from O, but I doubt I'll use it again before O comes. If O doesn't come early, we'll definitely be doing it like bunnies.

I know what you mean about just wanting to get on with your attempt. I can't tell you how much better I felt after we dtd yesterday - at least I feel like I'm doing SOMETHING now instead of just waiting.

Well, I got a definite negative OPK at 1pm after not drinking anything or peeing for 4 hours. O is definitely coming - my cervix is wide open, extremely soft, and I have TONS of EWCM, but it's starting to look like this cycle will be similar to past ones where I have O signs for many days before it actually comes .

I'm CD 11 today, and we leave for our trip on CD13. I have a feeling I'll O sometime between CD14 and 16 if my past cycles are any indication. Still send me your early O vibes, ladies - I'd really like to be done with our attempts before Thursday! What I'm hoping for is a cycle like I had last August, which was the earliest O I've ever recorded - I started having ewcm on CD10, same as this cycle, got my +OPK on CD12 (which would be tomorrow), then O'd on CD13, which would be the day of our trip - if we BD the night before that, I'd be satisfied with our attempt - it would be 3DBO, 2DBO and 1DBO.
