    7am: coffee
12pm: small bagel with low fat cream cheese, gingerbread cookie
5:30pm: orzo pasta with roasted butternut squash, a dab of butter and parmesan (Yum!), 2 more gingerbread men for dessert (in my defense, I baked them today and the whole house smelled like them)

I've done really good today! Er, except for the calories... but everything else is spot-on. Actually, I did the percentage of fat from calories thing again and I think it was at 23% or something. Yeah!

    Breakfast:
No coffee this morning... I just can't do the rice milk in coffee... I have to go back to soy. Rice milk just doesn't taste nice in it and if I am not enjoying it, I am not forcing it down me!

    Lunch:
3 Ryvita thins and 3 Ryvita cracked black pepper crispbreads, with nonfat cottage cheese, skinless cucumber slices, and about 50g worth of reduced fat hummus... and a diet Dr Pepper.

    Dinner:
(Not eaten yet but soon... it's in the plan.)
Leftover basmati rice with mushrooms and a little bit of grilled veggies, and some low fat creme fraiche.

    Snacks:
Half of cupcake-thing (the last one in the box... I split it with my son.)
Two rice cakes with 1 tablespoon worth of Nutella (I only did 1 tablespoon worth and spread it very thinly over the two. SO GOOD. I never buy Nutella because... I could probably eat the whole jar...) I'm so glad there isn't heavy loads of protein in it.

    Calories: 926
    Fat: 24
    Protein: 33
Sodium:518 (could be slightly more than that but definitely not over the limit.)

I might have one more rice cake with nutella close to bed... I have the room and I need more calories! Ha!

Sounds like a great day, suregena! I actually use a very small slosh of regular 1% milk in my coffee - I couldn't stomach the rice milk in it either and I don't care for coffee black. I'm fairly sure atomic once said the small amount you put in coffee doesn't raise your blood sugar enough to make a difference.

This week is going to be near-impossible to diet on when I'm not at home. I might relax it this holiday week (except at home!) but obviously not go CRAZY. 1 week (not even a full week...) shouldn't doom me when all of the supplements, etcetera, are taken into consideration... then after the 25th I'll hit it hard again.

There's a work party with snacks and things involved tomorrow. I'm baking chocolate chip and peanut butter cookies tonight... I have my mother in law's Christmas dinner on Friday... and outings on Xmas Eve and Xmas.

Near... impossible. I'm just not going to stress about it and ride the holiday wave a little and then jump back on the diet horse right after.

    Oof.

Good idea, suregena. Once I O, I'm going to let myself relax a bit with the diet too - at least while I'm visiting the ILs. The food there will be out of my control anyway, so there's no sense fighting it and stressing about it. I will try my best to keep my blood sugar low, though, since that's most important in the 2WW...but I won't beat myself up about eating a bit of meat if that's all that's available at meals.

    today started well...

morning: 2 marshmallows when I felt dizzy
lunch: tomato +sweetcorn pasta, 2 WW mini rolls

    then started to feel down....
mid-afternoon: slice of cheesecake (but didn't eat it all)

    and then DH ordered pizza...
tea: 1/2 Dominos garlic bread, a few potato wedges, 2 Dominos cookies

so think I've definitely gone over on the sodium today, and probably at the upper limit for cals/prot/fat too

There's no way I'd let dh order pizza while I'm on the diet! Pizza's something I can never, ever resist - and I can't stop at one piece - I'll eat a whole pizza if you set it in front of you. I think you did a great job, all things considered....

You and me both! My husband had pesto and pasta twice over the weekend. TWICE! The smell was intense.
Last week he also had pizza... it was brutal.
