Lola, sorry that you're having to deal with all that crap with your ex. Sometimes life isn't fair.

With my last daughter I had suffered a really yucky loss just the month before her conception (I went for 8 week u/s and watched my babies hb slow until it stopped 3mins later, then decided to miscarry naturally which took a further 4 weeks, the m/c was like short labour and I passed the sac complete with baby still inside). No joke I POAS for the first 5 months of the next pregnancy which resulted in our youngest daughter!! Sometimes multiple times a day...I think I had some issues!!!

LBAM, just throwing this out there- since you O so irregularly, I would think about doing opks again. You would have a better idea of when to do it. Personally, I usually O around day 14 (when not on fert meds) so for me, I know I can just dtd a bunch around then, but if it varied much more, I'd be all over some opks. I just think they will only help you get pg faster. You can get a ton of them on amazon.com for only $10- the Wondfo kind. I think they work just fine.

So, I am a little BLAH today. I guess I just wish I didn't have to deal with this infertility bullcrap. My ex is having their kid today, she's being induced (is exactly 2 weeks overdue, yikes). So now I am going to have to hear about this baby ad nauseum from my girls. BARF.
I am on holidays atm so thats why I am not really doing anything, all my OPT's are at home. I should be home in time to do some opt's before CD24 ( last cycle O ) and also CD 19 ( the 2 cycles before that).

I've been taking multi V and folic acid.
I have decided not to do BSF as I think that's why I didn't get pregnant last cycle. Plus have not DTD everyday like last time. Thinking about starting to DTD every 2nd from now. Today is CD17 I think.

Thanks cinss. Yep, i think this thread is more active so i will repost my question from the other thread here.

    Hi Everyone,

I'm new on this forum but have been a member on ingender for long. I've been on and off many times from this ttc wagon. Thanks for starting the Jan thread and wish everyone a very happy new year.

I'm all set to ttc this month and need lots of good wishes from everyone and my sincere wishes are with everyone. Yesterday was my first day of AF and I am going to do following things from AF to OV. Could you plz let me know if anyone has any suggestion for what i should do or not do.

    1) Drinks-ACV 2 times/day, COT drink 2 times/day, Fresh extracted Grapefruit juice 8Oz/day
    2) Royal Jelly/Pollen bee - 1 spoon morning and 1 spoon night
    3) Lots of fruits, juices and veggies along with all the ttc Boy supplements.

This is the first month that i'm eating Royal Jelly n pollen bee and i'm hoping that ovulation is going to be either delayed or early a little bit. How about grape fruit juice? Is it good or should i stop that?

Regarding fresh extracted grape fruit juice....has something changed? I believe 2 years back it was considered good for TTC boy...i googled and found grape fruit juice to increase estrogen level.....is that bad for TTC boy?

Aha I'll repost here on the active thread:

Happy New Year ladies! I hope all are doing well.

I am sitting on pins and needles here... We have been using the Marquette method of NFP/FAM where you monitor cervical fluid and use the CBFM to watch hormone patterns. They have a breastfeeding protocol to use before cycles resume. Essentially, if you have no mucus and get a "low" on the monitor, you are safe. If you get a High or have mucus, you're to abstain. If you're getting a peak your cycles are probably about to start and you go to normal NFP protocol after your first period.

Well I have been having all lows with highs here and there, but no period, no peaks. DH and I DTD on Tuesday b/c I had a low and no mucus. Then yesterday morning I got a peak on the monitor, out of nowhere!! I have a little mucus now, but no EWCM. I'm kinda worried now... The Marquette doctors actively monitor charts and help out on the forums, so the doctor said it's pretty much just wait and see, and really annoying I got NO high before a peak... I'm also temping and no shift yet so I didn't O yet... The DR said if I O today or tomorrow there's around an 85% chance we won't get pg... Obviously he does not know me LOL.

If anything we would be leaning girl sway right now with me losing off all my baby weight from Honor (I was getting to where I'm looking good, too!)... Though I am actively strength training. I told DH if I am pg I want to go Team Green and he said no LOL!

Right now I'm a little in shock (didn't realize you could even go low to peak with no warning! I don't have any OPK's to test w/ those). I just need to tell somewhere, and here is safe... And just wait and see.

Honor is still super high-maint, so I hope for her sake this was just hormones trying to start up but not making it.

I was the one who wanted to DTD on Tues, so DH said that in the future we should just abstain if I'm in the mood

Sorry this is long gals, just needed somewhere to talk...

HEy Skrimpy--I just replied to this on the other thread. I just hope that you get the outcome you want--if you don't want a baby right now, then hopefully you will not get pregnant. My guess would be that your cycles are still out of wack from nursing, and you probably won't O tomorrow.. keep us posted!!

Yea, he and his new wife live in the same city as we do (I stayed here so my kids could see him). We made a schedule where they go over to his place every other weekend, but they hate it there. I just hate seeing them get pg right away while we have to have issues. They are so wealthy too, they could afford ivf in a heartbeat. NOT FAIR INDEED!!!! Should be other way around!

Skrimpy and Son4me, I posted a reply on the other thread, too! Will repost: Skrimpy, nail biter! I am really hoping that your hormones are just being wackadoodle right now. But ya know what, it is what it is, and if this is another oops baby, he/she will be awesome and was meant to be. I did the NFP method for years, kept me un-pregnant for a good 2 years between my girls. I had a couple of scares also, when I would suddenly have ewcm out of the blue. Keep us updated!!!! FX just a scare for you!

Son4me- Welcome! I honestly don't think there is anything wrong with drinking grapefruit juice. We don't believe in avoiding calcium for swaying blue on this site (well, I speak for most of us), and I know gf juice is super nutritious- see here: WHFoods: Grapefruit. I personally think vitamin c is excellent when ttc and awesome when you are pg for keeping that old sac of waters nice and strong among other things.

Good to just go by this rule of thumb: everything healthy and whole (ie not artificial) is going to be good for you and sway blue. As many wholesome fruits and veggies as you can (including fresh gf juice) is excellent!
