anyone know/tried/heard of vitamin C to lower PH?

they are actually used to lower PH in women to prevent bacterial infections "down there"....

I'm wary of the extra nutrients in the Vitamin C. I think baby aspirin +aspartame + diet is best because you acidify without adding nutrients. Intriguing idea tho, thanks for sharing, I hadn't heard of that.

Oh duh, it's a VAGINAL product? Hmm...that seems like it would be ok but I would prob. just stick with RepHresh, Sylk, or Acijel.

sylk I have already and plan to use a small amount when dtd. Can it be used to lower ph in general? I didnt know. I also thought of using my diva cup afte rmy o+12 attempt lined with sylk... has anyone done this before?

Acijel I cannot find anywhere and they do not deliver to where I live. Rephresh is expensive.... Euro 40 for 3 doses *sigh*. I think I will only order it if my ph doesnt drop by itself, I have already spent so much on swaying. I might try vitamin C this cycle as I am not attempting yet, see what it does. Its for cheap

oh atomic (sorry for all those questions) baby aspirine - what exactly is this? Is it just a low dosed aspirine? I cannot find the equivalent in the country I live in, I have already searched the internet... or could someone point out the ingredient I am looking for?

It's just low dosage aspirin - 70-80mg depending what they sell in your country.

Yes, Sylk can be used to lower pH in general. I'm sure people have used Divas lined with Sylk on the other site but I just think there's no need to do this. Just use the Sylk to BD with and then you can do a jump and dump (get up after sex and wipe away excess semen) and that will be better for your sway anyway.

If you have Sylk, you do not need Acijel for sure. I like RepHresh but a lot of people have gotten baby girls without it!!

Yes, I'm sorry, it's just low dose aspirin like Zana describes. "Baby aspirin" is so stuck in my head that I call it that without thinking. But no one should EVER give a baby, even a child or teenager up to the age of 21, aspirin because it can cause a very rare disease in children.

where can you find sylk? I cant find it anywheres, and I have never heard of vaginal vit C lol would that be by the rephresh and replens? or something you have to get a health store?

thanks for all your help atomic and zanacal! I will go without Aspirine, says my gut. Have never taken it in my life.

The vit c capsules can be bought in pharmacies over here. They are usually prescribed by your OB if you have a too high ph which can cause infections (a healthy ph should be around 4.5 apart from around O and AF). They arent called vitamine C capsules, that is what they contain.... hope this helps.... I will probably still get the rephresh ones hoping I will conceive soon... swaying is expensive
