So I got an app at 3.15 this afternoon... should I ask for a blood test or is it too early? Don't even know why I am letting myself get hopeful!

POP, haven't the psychics been wrong a good bit? I have to say, I would not base my decision to not have any more kids or stop swaying or whatever on what they say. Heck, one said I'd have 2 boys after my 2 girls. Like that is going to happen. !

No idea, I have never had a blood test before lol.. AF is due around 4 days *I think* could be due sooner or a few days after that.. I didn't use opks but did cave and used the last of my CBFM sticks and got a high reading on both those days around CD 16/17 BUT hard to say wether a peak occured BEFORE those or AFTER IYKWIM? I had strong O pain 2ish days before I did those tests so could be possible I o'd around CD 14... which would put me due for AF in the next few days.

Thanks for the reassurance... I know timing isn't as big a factor (which is why I went ahead and DTD 4 times this cycle) BUT I am pissed about possibly Oing on the cusp of a girl/boy moon sign. I know not a lot of people put stock in that, and I guess I wouldn't care so much, but I had been so excited that the moon sign changed CD12 in the pm and stayed in a boy sign until today, so I thought for sure we were in the clear! It was the first cycle that I had gotten to attempt during a boy moon sign, so I guess it is an extra let down that it possibly didn't happen.

I hear you, but don't let it get you down. I don't believe in any of that, personally. I looked up my girls and they were both in boy signs. And both were boy zone on that Chinese chart too. So much of it is wrong that I just can't imagine it is real, kwim? I just chalk all of that stuff up to fun, to be honest. Not to discount those who believe in it, I respect that, I just don't want you to get down because of it! Plus, I really think you Oed later than you think.

OMG, if I had twin boys, I would be shocked as all hell. That would be like one in a million odds with our shitty fertility, I would think. I did not discount it so much when I was taking Clomid, but now, I think it's a near impossibility.

A blood test can also detect hCG. Blood tests are more sensitive than urine tests and can detect pregnancy from about six to eight days after ovulation. However you will not be offered a blood test for pregnancy until after your period is due, and even then only if there is a medical need

Me again. UGH I have lasted this long without TWW obessing but now think I have well and truley caved!
So looked at my chart and I got a high on CD 14 and 15. I never O sooner so am guessing I would have peaked CD 16(and this is when I O) as I usually get 2 highs and then the peak. Soooo today is CD 24 (so I would be 8 dpo today).
