Hi queen of harts and bumblebee! Great to have more September babies!
Did you sway bumblebee? What gender?
I'm feeling fine... bit more tired and hungry than usual. Hoping I might skip morning sickness this time but had it worse last last pg than with ds1. Started at 6 weeks. Wouldn't it be lovely to just skip that part!!

Welcome, Bumblebee!
I wasn't doing so well yesterday and last night. I woke up with my belly so bloated I swear someone would take me for a 5 month pregnant woman. All day I had dreadful gas (like cleared every room I was in dreadful), then by afternoon it turned into diarrhea. Sorry for the TMI, but it was constant and just liquid - I was on the toilet every 20 minutes or so. I was up a few times in the night having to go too, and with intense cramps and one of the times I also went into a horrible sweat and felt dizzy. I also had no appetite at all yesterday, compared to how hungry I usually am all the time. I had to force myself to eat.
It sounds like diarrhea can be a pregnancy symptom, but I doubt it's usually this intense. I'm wondering if it was something I ate or some sort of stomach bug? Of course the cramps scared me to death and I kept looking for blood thinking I was miscarrying again.
This morning I feel a lot more normal and a lot of the bloating is gone. My belly keeps making ominous rumbling noises, but so far no diarrhea. I even managed to make myself eat a piece of toast, which made me feel a lot better.

Okay, so this morning with FMU, I did the baking soda test, and no fizz at all, yay.
LOL, not that I believe in it per se, but just seeing no fizz kept some hope alive for me, that maybe, just maybe I may get my girl after all....it made me feel hopeful and open to the possabilities....
So far I'm still having some indigestion, bloating issues, my face, which is always clear, is breaking out, and I wanna scratch my boobies off, they are very itchy, and I'm not sure why? Never had this problem with my boys. I know a person can have way different pregnancies and have same gender, but my two boys pregancies were very similiar, so I guess here's hoping.....?
A teacher at my work who knows I'm preggo (because I was in the weight loss contest and I told her I was pregnant so I could drop out and get my 20 bucks back) said to me today, "You're hoping for a girl, right?" I said, "it'd be a nice change" (tried to stay non-commital) then she said back, "Oh, you'll probably have another boy. Some women just keep having boys."
GRRR, I know she wasn't being mean and spiteful (she's usually very nice) but it's that ignorance that pisses me off. My body is not hard set to only pop out boys, and even if it was, way to kill the hope, ya know?
So, anyone else try the baking soda test, just for fun?

Welcome Queen and BumbleBee!!! Mocha, I am so sorry to hear about the possible bug...yikes, I hope you feel better today! I tried the baking soda test for fun...got no fizz! LOL
I feel very different then my last two boy pregnancies...don;t really remember Cody's as it was 13 years ago! LOL But I am trying not to read too much into it. I was so disappointed withmy last DS and I still feel guilty from that so I am trying not get my hopes up too much just in case....Tiffany. Due 10/12/14

Emmy, I agree with that!
With DS1 I was disappointed he was a boy, but it lasted a whole day, that was it! I kept thinking how great my daughter will one day have a big brother, because I had an older brother, and me and him were really close as kids (still somewhat close now....) and so from that moment onward, I'd be obsessing about getting my girl.
DS2 was an opps and there are 3 and 1/2 years between them, and had all the time to build up my second as going to be my daughter, so when DS2 was indeed a boy, I felt gutted, like maybe I'd never have a girl, that maybe my dreams/intiution was wrong. It took a while to get over it , but by the time DS2 arrived, I had come to terms with it and I am geniuely happy to say that I am proud he is my son, and i love him to bits
Still I worry about going through the rollercoster of emotions if I hear boy again...I know I will grow to love that child, as DS2 has proved to me, but I know it will hurt a lot, at first.
I'm just trying to think positive about it being a girl, without thinking it can ONLY be a girl, you know what I mean?

I wish I had more sickness and lack of appetite...I am gonna be the size of house with my appetite. I feel pretty much ok all day...I get waves of nausea at night but so far nothing too bad. This is way different then with my last two ds's...the mornings were miserable for me.....
