Hi everyone,
amari- If you are on clomid I think it makes you o later than usual; however, it sounds like already o late so maybe it will come sooner! I od on cd17 and 19 when I used clomid.
Auroara...what did your final sway look like?
OOTB..haven't heard from you in a while...I thought you were in the 2 ww. What did you end up trying?
Hope- time is going slowly right now!!! It seems like forever ago it was Christmas but now that it is January....and winter seems to have arrived in Canada it is going slowly!
I have a few questions for everyone...I am using vitex natural factors with 80 mg. It is standarized so I thought it made a difference but then I found standardized 400 m g. I am confused on how many to take!
The bottle says 1-3...but that is hardly the 800-1000 mg that everyone seems to use.
Does aspirin replace cranberry???
I am cd 10 and will ovulate around cd 14. Although the last 4 months it has been either cd 12.5 to 15.
We have abstained this month; DH does not like releasing.
Do you think I should keep abstaining and then try one attempt????
Not even sure what day to try.
I know a lot of women get pregnant with a 3 day cut off but maybe not as likely at 38 (Just turned)...groan!
Our DS 2 was a one shot attempt with a 2 day cut off (more like 1.5) and was a surprise oops!
I want to try this month but maybe not super hard....we just booked a trip in March!
I would regret wasting a month at my age.
Should we try 0-4, 0-3 and 0-2???
Or keep going to 0-1? It is just the work week and we are too tired and stressed to keep going...weekends work best for us! So, the cut off would be just for our sake of reducing pressure during the work week. Maybe we could just do 0-3 and 0-1?
I know timing does not matter...but we want to try something different as most women do. It just means less regret I guess!
Any advice???
GOOD LUCK 2 WW ladies!

Amari~ Thank you for asking. I am doing soooo much better. I have my
that it lasts. My flare started right after my attempt in November and I kept getting better for like a week, and then getting really ill again. I think part of the problem is the minute I get better I go back to full speed...working like crazy, running around with the kids, food shopping etc.etc.etc. and wasn't allowing myself to get fully better. So, I have been trying to take it easy...which is hard for me!! I like my house clean, things done right away...
Anyway, so far so good and my meds got dropped down (the ones I need to get off of) and I'm still doing well. Need to step them down again too. Going back to doc on Wednesday. Hopefully, can step them down again.Cycle#1 Jan/Feb 2013: 10 eggs retrieved, 8 mature, 8 fertilized. 1 expanded blast frozen to batch.

Lemon- The baby aspirin 81mg replaces cranberry. You get the lowered PH without the added nutrients. Here's the vitex I use:
Amazon.com: Solaray - Vitex Chaste Berry Extract, 225 mg, 60 capsules: Health & Personal Care
If you are doing Abstainance and multiple attempts after the first attempt I would probably have dh release before a 2nd and 3rd attempt. I think overall you need to decide how many attempts your comfortable with so you don't start stressing and increasing your T levels.Cycle#1 Jan/Feb 2013: 10 eggs retrieved, 8 mature, 8 fertilized. 1 expanded blast frozen to batch.

I've been trying to keep up with this thread and figure where everyone is at. Looks like we have a few in the 2WW! Hopefully it moves along for everyone else and we have some BFP soon
I really just want January to fly by so we can ttc in Feb. No matter if your waiting for af or waiting to O or in the 2ww it seems to drag on f o r e v e r... lol1815

Hard to catch up on phone but hope everyone is well!
Anyone have any tips for surviving when non-dieting non-veggie takeaway-loving guests come to stay shortly before ov? My mum and 1 sister will be visiting next weekend which is probably just a few days before ov!

Actually less than 10% of pregnancies come from dtd with a 3+ day cut off and those women are not swaying and probably highly fertile. Doing something different implies what you were doing before swayed blue, and as timing doesn't seem to sway that seems unlikely but timing could stop you conceiving at all
Have a read of atomics "trouble with timing" post
I take 800mg vitex at the moment but still saw an improvement when taking 400mg a day
